Jewelry Sales/Design/Repair
Not well at all. The jeweler/owner would not make any
attempt or effort to correct the poor workmanship.
I tried to get some help from my credit
card company. They told me that the jeweler had ?rebutted? my
dispute by claiming that nine or so months had elapsed before I
brought the defect to the jeweler?s attention. The simple
reason for this is that it took that long for the defect to manifest
itself ? i.e., the defect was latent. But, the important point
here is that the jeweler did not otherwise defend his workmanship.
Now I am stuck with a $966 piece that is
the product of substandard workmanship and which I don?t dare wear
for fear of losing all my stones.
