Deak And Co

Deak & Co.'s performance is poor. Deak walked away from our project, leaving several tasks unfinished. We have uncovered electrical sockets, dead sockets, unfinished kitchen cabinet kickboards, damaged fixtures, an uninstalled light fixture in the bathroom, & numerous code violations as pointed out by city building inspectors. I would never recommend him for any renovation project. He didn't communicate well by email (requiring assistance from his daughter during our project), consistently lost lists of remaining tasks that I supplied to him, and was frequently gone because of roadtrips on his Harley. During our last meeting one of the first questions he asked me was when he could expect another payment. We had paid almost everything we agreed to except $3000 due on completion. I told him that he'd get the $3000 when everything was done and that was the last time I saw him.
