This store must be under new ownership because my experience was totally different than previous reviewers. I always have to have my suit jackets altered at the collar because otherwise my physique results in a roll of excess material. This occurs with virtually every off the rack coat. I took four new sport jackets for alteration. So-called tailor had no clue what to do. In fact told me that roll in material was due to coat hanger. Totally not the case. Moreover tailor had no interest in fixing issue; do not believe she even recognized a problem. Do not use this store for any tailoring that you care about!!

I just recently moved to the area, and was very concerned about finding a dry cleaners that could do a quality job of cleaning and pressing designer slacks. I've had those experiences where clothing was returned with the same stain, or pants were returned with more than one crease on the same leg. When I arrived at the shop, the woman behind the counter was very reassuring, and everything was returned to me in beautiful condition.

They are great. I've had a number of things altered by them and it's always excellent. Even when bringing in the waist they are great. The cleaning is also excellent and they have eco options available.

I am very picky about the cleaners and these folks are great. They do not over press items - they leave life in them. Items always smell good - not like old chemicals. They recycle hangers which is a nice thing. They call when when they have a question about an item or if they should perform a repair.

I dropped a sweater off and they called me to tell me that a seam was ripped and to ask if I wanted them to mend it. They are very good cleaners, do very good mending and provide excellent customer service. Their service is prompt. Many cleaners over-press clothing, leaving it flat and lifeless. These cleaners are very gentle with clothing.

I came into Cupid Cleaners with several pairs of pants that needed hemming, including one that I had already done myself but too short. I also wanted to sew pockets closed on one pair of pants where the pockets stuck open un-attractively. Although she seemed unsure when talking to her about sewing the pockets shut, she did a perfect job. They now look like false pockets and lie smoothly on my hips. For the pair of pants that had jeans-like stitching, she removed the original thread and re-used it so that it would match perfectly. This was especially great because the pants are a "kind-of olive" color that I thought would be impossible to match. She also did not charge me for an easier button fix. Everything was done in a few days. Even better, the dry cleaning is done in a more environmentally friendly way. A great and professional job!

The seamstress told me that she would not recommend that I have the trousers altered because 1) they would not look appropriate, i.e. they are supposed to fit loose; and 2) she could not insure that there would not be visible 'marks' from the sewing. Although I did not have the work done, I believe that the seamstress was right and appreciated that she saved me the time, money, and perhaps the trousers, which I now feel better about wearing loose. I would probably try Cupid Cleaners again for a future alteration, or even for dry cleaning, which is apparently "all natural."
