Second paper bill never came. Late notice demanded immediate payment, a late fee and also voided offer for $350 pre-paid Visa card. Several attempts to get situation remedied resulted in my being passed around the Cox departments like a bad penny. Got the $8 late fee taken off, but could never get back the $350 Visa card, because I had not been on time with one of the first 3 payments. Out of all accounts, I miss maybe one bill payment every 5 years, usually because of circumstances such as this, where I never receive the bill. In addition, bills had price creep over the service period, over and above increases that could be explained by extra services we ordered. Bottom line: not everything is covered by the 2-year price lock. And don't assume that Cox will come through with promised financial incentives, even if they are the ultimate cause of the default.
