I rented a place at twin oaks in Arlington. I asked if the unit had plumbing issues and I was assured it did not. I asked because I know basement units sometimes had these issues. The floors in the bathroom were Not clean and the floors in the dining room were badly damaged due to water damage. I took the unit anyway because it was spacious for the price but it was a huge mistake. Several times water would **** out of the dishwasher and the spigot near the sink damaging the floors further. The last time it happened when I was not home and the water was dirty and got on the floors. There was no further damage done since the floors were already badly damaged. In fact my $500 carpet was ruined after the last time this happened. The tub would clog up for weeks at a time no matter how much drain was used. The last time dirty water actually came out of the drain. All other drains had the same issue. So when it was time to get my deposit back I was told I would have to actually PAY THEM money and would not get my $3000 deposit back. They also accused me of leaving “debris” in the apartment although I paid $250 to clean the entire place. The only thing left was a small trash can that was there before I moved in. So here I am being told I owe them money even the water came out of the spigot while I wasn’t even home. I have to pay them for floors that were already damaged and now my emails are being ignored. DO NOT MOVE INTO THIS CONDO OR ANY OTHER BUILDINGS BY THESE SCAM ARTISTS. THEY WILL CHARGE YOU RO FIX DAMAGE THAT EXISTED BEFORE YOU MOVED IN. Worst renting experience EVER.

He is well informed about real estate law, building codes and the construction details of buildings. He understands the building trades. And he has a list of really well qualified tradesmen who work quickly, competently, and at fair prices. Tom understands the local market because he manages or visit many apartment buildings in and near Rosslyn. Condo1 quickly rented my apartment in Rosslyn at fair market value. Tom used his long experience in the Rosslyn area to develop a realistic marketing plan. The well qualified staff carried out the plan well and kept me well informed with imformative emails and detailed phone calls. Most importantly, Tom helped me deal with a problem tenant. I did not want to evict the tenant because evictions are very expensive. That tenant had been acquired by a very ineffective large real estate firm. That firm had taken more than a month to get this lease which turned out to be hundreds of dollars a month less than fair market value. After the lease expired, I wanted to raise the rent to fair market value. Unfortunately, the tenant believe that the tenant, not the owner, sets the rent. The tenant did not want to pay a fair rent and the tenant did not want to leave. Tom helped develop an effective plan that encouraged the problem tenant to rent elsewhere. Condo1 found a fine tenant who is happy to pay fair market value for the apartment. The tenant is pleased with the people at Condo1.
