Needed some work done just before Thanksgiving has I had family visiting. Explained my time constraint and Bill from Commonwealth showed up the day before Thanksgiving. Professional, knowledgeable, polite, friendly, and did a fantastic job. Having come back to install smart switches. Highly recommend this company and especially Bill Wine.

They did a great job at a reasonable price. I'd definitely use them again. I'm a real estate agent so I've met a lot of electricians. These guys are definitely worth your while!

It went very well. I'm very happy with the service.

Had non-emergency simple electrical work to be done. Maybe it was too small a job?

I called and set up the appointment, took off from work early to be there. No one showed up. I called the dispatcher, who said she would page the technician. After another 45 minutes, I call again. I am again told the technician would be paged and I would get a call. 30 minutes pass, no phone call. I call a third time. I am told that she will page the technician and we will reschedule the call. No one has called.

My conclusion is they really aren't interested in residential clients. I will be looking elsewhere.

They did a great job, was very responsive, knowledgeable, and had great suggestions. The one thing I wasn't happy with was that the final price was about double the original estimate. I admit that much of this was my own fault for adding-on several items once work commenced, but I also thought the estimate was a bit loose and left off the cost of some needed items. Next time I will scrutinize the estimate more to ensure that all the expected costs are included so that I can budget better. Otherwise, they were very pleasant to work with, and I would recommend.

The first time I called them I left the message and no one called me back. So I put them off my list. As the issue was getting more of a concern to me I called them again and they called me back immediately. They apologized for not getting back to me. The next afternoon they sent the electrician at our house. He was the gentleman who could actually fix it. The gentleman who had come out before instead of replacing the transformer had tried to rewire it. It looked like it had melted and I was afraid it was unsafe. So the electrician from Commonwealth replaced the wire within 20 minutes and it looked much safer. They charged $91 for the first hour and $46 for every hour after that. I had a specific issue and they fixed it. We had them give us some suggestions to replace another light so they would come out again soon.
