The house had four offers in five days - during a period in which interest rates were rising! Moreover, two of the offers exceeded the price we had settled on. His confidence and guidance throughout the settlement process helped my mother-in-law at a time when she needed it most (a family member had recently died). Wendy assisted my family in the purchase of our home in North Arlington. We chose her because she is an attorney and the managing broker for Keller Williams in Arlington. She was really fantastic! During the contingency period, she knew exactly where we had leverage and room negotiate, and where we did not. She introduced us to the right loan officer at the mortgage lender that offered the lowest rate for our jumbo loan, provided a quick, on-time closing, and who held our hand throughout the mortgage process. Wendy brought in the right home inspector who identified the "must-do's" and "nice-to-do" items. Then, Wendy used that information to get the seller to take on some of the closing costs and save us money. During the contingency period, Wendy was totally on top of all communication with us, the seller's agent, and the contractors performing needed work before closing. As a bonus, Wendy paid the first year's premium on our home warranty out of her commission! Wendy let us know that we can come to her with any questions after closing. She also inspected the unit and had a professional photographer come in and create wonderful pictures and a professional brochure. All this pay off when we were able to get a contract less than 48 hours from posting. We received a competitive offer that Wendy helped negotiate to turn it to a great offer. We closed on the unit 15 days after being on contract, which meant I didn't have to make another mortgage payment. During the closing process it was also a pleasure to work with. This was my first sale and I was a bit nervous, and I'm a very "demanding" (my wife says difficult) person, but Wendy's professionalism, knowledge and passion put me at ease and we made a great time.
