We started with an initial consultation, where we discussed our overall vision for the project and then discussed several possible design concepts. Craig provided us with a quote a short time later, which we then signed and provided a deposit. It's important to note that C&W is a small operation. Craig oversees all project work himself and has a very small network of carpenters, plumbers, and electricians. Personally, we find this to be an asset, but there is a downside to this -- work can only progress at a certain pace and other projects can be a distraction. In our case, we had to wait a few weeks for our project to begin, and later on during the punch-list phase, it was difficult to get attention to closing out minor items. However, once Craig and his team begin working, they worked hard and did a great job. Craig maintains a small pool of associates because he values quality work and choses to work with people he trusts. I really appreciate that. Our kitchen renovation went a little above the average renovation. During our project, we removed all existing wall cabinets and appliances, removed an interior wall, closed off an exterior door, raised the height of an exterior window, expanded an exterior window to become a new door, and laid down new hardwood flooring to match the rest of the house. Overall, we are thrilled with our new kitchen. Craig was a sincere pleasure to work with. We felt very comfortable working with him and believe that he genuinely cared about our satisfaction. There were a few times where work turned out differently than we had anticipated, and he was happy to make changes or rework as needed. Craig never tried to pad his estimate or increase his costs. His quote was valid from start to finish. Perhaps the strongest endorcement for C&W is the repeat business they see. Our neighbors (the ones who originally referred us) have used Craig 3 times. We're now talking to Craig about our next big project, an addition that will include a 2-car garage and an expanded master bathroom suite. Craig was our first choice to undertake this project and we're hoping to start design in the next few weeks and break ground sometime in the spring.
Description of Work: Craig Wallace came to us as a referal from a neighbor. We were looking for someone to help us with a kitchen renovation and he came highly recommended. We're glad we chose to work with Craig.

Craig and his helper were great, and built a beautiful new garage. They also painted our houe and changed the shutters. They fixed drywall and cabinets inside the house. Craig was very communicative and constantly informed us of what he was doing and the status of the job. Adding an addition onto an old house can be challenging (finding the unknowns) and Craig was very reasonable and kept the cost overruns minimal.
Description of Work: Built new Garage, painted house, touched up drywall in side house and other odds and ends
