C & R General Services LLC

It was a horrendous experience from start to finish. I had recently purchased the condominium and learned that the plywood was rotting when I attempted to have the carpet replaced. C&R was a company that my management company had used before and they wanted to use them again in this case. I had sought other estimates and it was true that their pricing was considerably lower. It turned out that the reason was because the materials they used were shoddy materials which one month later already require replacing. To make themselves more competetive, they were dishonest about the amount of time that the whole process would take. The advised me that it would be complete by a certain time so that my carpets could be laid down and I would then be able to move in on time. When the carpet people arrived, they were not even close to being finished. They continued to lie and blame the management company for the confusion, however I had been in close contact with them the whole time and we were both well aware who was being dishonest. They then in turn left all their materials laid out everywhere all over my new home, sodas on the floor, chips on teh ground and left for 2 hours.... even though they claimed they had no other work. They also had left marks all over the newly painted walls and behaved like 10 year olds claiming it wasnt' them - yet not a soul had been in the house and I had yet to even move in any furniture. Finally, the gibkree and cement they laid has already begun to crackle underneath the brandnew carpet -only two months into it being set, which means I will have to have the carpets torn up again and the cement replaced. This was the most unprofessional, disrespectful group of people I have ever worked with.
