A disaster. He built a deck so unsafe and out of Code compliance it is being torn down and replaced. Non-galvanized bolts, too small posts and poorly connected stairs are just some of the mistakes. The deck could expose us to liability of allowed to remain. He promised all work would be to Code. He walked off the job when confronted with the deficiencies. Substituted inferior materials without notice. Cut our TV and gas lines and didn't tell us. Pronounced that a top quality electrical transformer was defective. In fact, his "electrician" failed to connect it properly. Failed to install ground fault interrupters on outside lights. Attached bathtub spout without required metal pipe or collar--causing spout to be loose. After he left, we heard from neighbors that he spent a lot of time screaming at his crew while we were not at home. He never completed a single job satisfactorily. We blew it by failing to consult Angie's List before hiring this "contractor." We now have our attorney involved to get our money back. Stay Away!!!!! Note, we paid only the deposit. The entire job was bid at approx. $24,000.

The estimate was punctual and informative, and the schedule was flexible to my needs, unlike other providers I interviewed. They were somewhat more in cost, about 10% more than competitors, but the timing was critical to me. This was a tough job, requiring a jackhammer of sorts...nothing I wanted to try myself. The team showed up on time, and with all the needed equipment. They were fairly careful to keep the mess to a minimum and clean up afterward. Professional attitudes and eager to make sure I understood my options for the work. They finished ahead of schedule, and left little trace of their visit, other than the new floor!

They were rude, nasty, unbelievably expensive charging us not only for the handyman BUT premium rates for an assistant we never agreed to. When the bill was questioned he became abusive. Absolutely the worst experience we have ever had with home repair.

Terrible company! We hired Blue Army to do a basic job involving installing doors. The job began with the owner of the company yelling and cursing at his workers. (The guys told us it was his normal behavior.) He also got very angry at us later, for changing our minds about the style of the doors. The work done was average, though a bit pricey. End of story and we figured we would not use them again. Except that 3 months later, we found a mysterious charge of $2380 from Blue Army on our credit card bill! (A brand new charge, unrelated to the original work.)When I called to ask the owner about this, he said it was a mistake and would be taken care of. When it wasn't fixed within 3 weeks, I called back. He yelled at me on the phone, becoming belligerent and ridiculously offensive! He finally said he would "look into it" and we never heard from him again. The charges were never reversed and we are now going into litigation. The owner appears unstable, and is completely unable to control his anger (even directing it at customers!) and fix clear billing issues. I highly advise against using this company!

Nightmare. William is unprofessional, disrespectful, and loves to shout! He lied about tasks being done when they weren't, overcharged me, and was incredibly rude when I pointed out that tasks he told me were done had not yet been started. I called him 7 times in 3 weeks and emailed twice re my project without one returned call.
