Ophir was the first Angie's List company to responded to me on a Sunday afternoon and he was able to come out on the next day after both my wife and I came home. We appreciate him being so quick, professional, and able to work with our schedules. He answered any questions we had and showed us what had happened. His prices were upfront and reasonable. I recommend anybody with fitness equipment issues reach out first to him. We will reach out to him again if any other issues crop up.

Ofir, the owner, couldn’t have been nicer and more professional. He showed up within an hour or so after I called him and quickly determined that my recumbent bike needed a replacement servo motor. The part was not in stock, but luckily, a Maryland distributor carried it. Ofer fixed the problem completely — lack of sufficient tension when I was pedaling — during his second visit and stayed within his estimates. Very much worth doing business with. Would definitely use again..

Ophir was great! Stopped by within 24 hours of my calling. He and I were both unable to replicate the problem that prompted me to call him, but I feel confident now that the bike is in good working order. He looked carefully at the bike mechanisms, lubed the chain, and generally cleaned up the moving parts. The bike is quieter now as a result of this general maintenance. I was pleased that there was a clear understanding upfront of what the cost would be, and I thought his $135 service charge reasonable. We also discussed a treadmill I have and what the cost would be of taking care of a problem he detected. I'd definitely call him again for future issues

It did not go well. Ofir Gubany (Technician) from Avalanche Tech Solutions failed to show up for an appointment on Thursday March 8, 2018 between the hours of 9 am - 1 pm. I called and sent a follow up email asking him to get in touch with me. He never responded. I would not recommend this company.

All we ask is if they didn't want to do the work they told us. They should just tell their customer they don't want to do it. It's poor customer service.

Overall the process went very well. Ofir came within the specified time window and definitely knew the equipment and what needed to be done. He had to order a part so we had to schedule a second appointment. He and an assistant came to the second appointment and the repair took about one hour. Both technicians were friendly and professional. It cost a bit more because he had to come out to the house two times. The repair was well done and the machine is now in very good working order.

At first I was happy.  Ofir seemed nice enough, maybe a little aloof but, i don't like to judge a person on first impressions.  At first the price was reasonable.  $125 to come out/inspect, etc.  He took off the belt as it was torn and was to order a new belt.  In the end i ordered it because i wanted the cushioned belt.  Long story, but 2 months later i finally had a belt.  I tried to arrange for Ofir to come do it.  He was not the best communicator but did finally commit, but then weather got in the way or so i was told, he could have come out though it did not snow until Monday he was to come Saturday.  After that all communication went extremely south.  Yes i texted him a lot because i couldn't get responses.  VERY DISAPPointed.  He seemed pretty nice at first but then nothing.  Very unprofessional to not communicate and to just a leave a customer in the lurch and never contact them again.  Meanwhile it is April and my treadmill is still incomplete.  I would love the opportunity for this company to send someone to make amends but i'm not holding my breath.

Outstanding and totally professional service.  Initial appointment to tune treadmill and help me to order parts from an online retailer. 
The technician, Ofir, didn't even charge me for the second appointment when it turned out additional parts were needed.  After all the parts were at my house, Ofir returned and went out of his way to get the job done right, quickly, and for a very reasonable price.  
Throughout the entire process, Ofir kept helping me to balance the cost of repairs vs. the cost of buying a new treadmill--it was not in his interest to do this, but he did it anyway.  I ended up getting the repairs done, my treadmill is running perfectly, and I highly recommend Avalanche Tech Services.

Very well. Machine was wobbly. Tech diagnosed crack in ramp wheel. Fortunately I had a spare wheel, so he could replace it without a subsequent visit. Provided some other suggestions to improve performance. 
I would recommend providing details of the problem in considerable detail to technician ahead of time, and discussing what parts you might order ahead of his visit. Technician will not have any parts with him, including nuts and screws of the size needed. This way you avoid the charges of a second visit

I appreciated Ofir coming out the day after I called...early! He called first and showed up 20 minutes later. He diagnosed the problem, called LifeFitness while kneeling next to the treadmill and got a price for the part. It's on order and he'll install it when it arrives. He said he'd work around my schedule (I'm an FCPS school teacher and go back to school next week.)

On the first visit, he diagnosed the problem and ordered the parts. The parts were still under warrantee so the factory shipped them directly to my home. Once they arrived, we scheduled the followup (about 3 weeks after first visit) and he came out to install them. He made sure everything was operating properly and adjusted everything just right. He let us test the treadmill until we were satisfied with the work.
From what I can tell, this is a sole proprietorship. You get the owner to come out to do the work.
The only thing I wish he did was haul off the old parts. I had to carry them to my dumpster, and one of the parts was really heavy.

We were looking for someone who could repair all of our fitness equipment rather than call a repair person for each manufacturer.  Called after seeing review on Angie's List.  Ofir Gubany said he could come out that afternoon.

I explained the problems with each piece of equipment and Ofir understood right away what needed to be done.

Everything was repaired efficiently and we have not had any problems since then.

It was easy scheduling service appointment at my convenience -- and very quickly. Technician called when he was on the way -- within the agreed-upon time window, arrived promptly. He asked whether he should remove his shoes, worked on the treadmill, gave advice on preventive maintenance I should perform, and gave $10 discount for my mentioning Angie's List. Perfect.

The owner (Ofir) came right on appointed time and quickly identified the problem, the rear roller had bad bearing.  He advised to replace it  and some other parts of the unit as these might be at the end of their life (walking belt, motor belt) and motor that was covered under warranty.  Ofir did not try to upsell any thing.  Recommended that I order the parts  as there is no difference in the cost to me whether I order or he does.  I contacted him after receiving all the parts and made appointment for installation.  He was right on time as before,  while installing new walking belt, it was noted the board had some gouge marks on it.  Ofir flipped the board instead of replacing it, a saving of $200- the cost of a new board!  One day after the repairs, the treadmill developed some rattling noise and once informed, Ofir came same day and fixed the minor problem!!  The machine is working like new and am very happy with it.

Ofir Gubany called me when he was on his way to my house.  When he arrived he introduced himself and handed me his business card.  He first thoroughly cleaned the treadmill, inside and out.  After he heard the banging noise, he removed the side supports and machine cover, cleaning the motor and pulley area.  He reassembled the treadmill, which continued to bang.  He determined that the problem was that the frame had become bent when the treadmill was last moved, resulting in the motor hitting its metal cover.  So he manually bent the frame back into proper position, which took considerable effort on his part.  After he had done this, the banging noise stopped and the treadmill operated quietly.  I was greatly impressed by his knowledge of this kind of equipment and his persistence in solving the problem to my satisfaction.  I will definitely call him again should I need service on the treadmill or on my exercise bike.

Avalanche was great! Giovanni, the owner, serviced my equipment and he was great. He explained everything to me, helped me order the parts that I needed and made recommendations for additional parts to ensure I received optimal performance from my equipment. Once my parts were in, Giovanni came back within days and put my parts on for a nominal return trip fee. This really set Avalanche apart from the other companies because other companies I contacted wanted the same amount for the return trip as the initial trip which to me just didn't seem fair. Avalanche was awesome! My treadmill is working like a charm.  The next time I need an equipment repairman, I will definitely be calling Avalanche! They get an A+ from me.
