It went very well. The locksmith arrived on time, right before the Christmas holiday, and was very professional. The work was completed without any problems and we have had no problems with the locks since rekeying.

AA Locksmith (James) re-keyed 8 locks at our new house, including the locks on the new combination keypads that they installed.  They reduced the number of keys we needed from about 5 to 2.  James also used 2 different key forms so it would be easy to tell them apart. They also installed strike plates where they were missing even though that wasn't part of the original job.  The amount charged seemed very reasonable given the amount of work that needed to be done.  We also appreciated that they told us to buy the keypads ourselves as we could get them much cheaper than they could provide them.  They showed up on time and were very professional in all respects.

After another company left us hanging for over 2 hours despite repeated promises of call backs and imminent arrival, we cancelled that call and contacted AA.

AA sent a very professional, personable and skilled locksmith in under 1/2 hour and we were in the house within minutes.

The new locksmith I eventually used to repair the deadbolt noted that the hole for deadbolt was slightly bigger than the lock. In the months since AA installed the deadbolt late last year, this caused the bolt to slip downward and the parts within the lock to fall out of alignment. AA should have noticed this problem with the hole bring too large for the lock at the time of installation and recommended a different type of lock. The lock that the new locksmith installed has a lip at the bottom of it which prevents the lock from slipping downward in the slightly oversized lock hole. It's hard for me to believe that AA didn't notice this potential problem when they installed the first lock which eventually stopped working. That, combined with their lack of responsiveness and initial rude treatment lead me to not recommend using them unless you're in a serious emergency.

Installer called when he was on the way as he was running a bit late due to traffic.  I appreciated the courtesy.  He was helpful and professional on site and worked quickly.  Person who scheduled the service call was very professional, able to accommodate my schedule, and provided accurate pricing information.  Overall, good experience.   I would use them again.
