He removed the hard drive, intending to convert it into an an external drive, but he demonstrated it could not be accessed and was making a very loud noise. He explained the option for another company to do a data retrieval for a damaged hard drive, and the procedure and cost involved. I took the hard drive, he offered to recycle the laptop which I left with him, and he only charged me $20. He and his staff are exceptional!
