Rental home had a clogged drain on 4th of July. We tried to resolve the issue but discover a blockage in the drain pipe which we couldn’t resolve. Angieslist hire a pro gave us a list of 4 providers. All of them had similar reviews. Selected the one who was willing to come the same day. I asked about Covid policies and he said he will be wearing a mask. He arrived and though he had a mask he Walked in with his street shoes even though we removed ours. During the process he took no precautions to protect the carpet or floor. Left with water soaked hall carper and utility floor which we had to address ourselves. He didn’t even offer to help. After he bolted Discovers a small leak under the utility sink which he used to remove the blockage. He did come back to fix the leak but left a gap of 2 inches between the wall and the sink. (He said he didn’t do it but the tenant and we know he did and there was no point in arguing as his attitude was getting worse by the minute). We expressed a concern about the gap asked maybe he could caulk the gap or do something that would prevent the shifting of the sink. He said “I’m a plumber not a handyman! Plummer’s don’t carry caulk!” WOW!!! We will be watching closely to see the quality of work. He also expected us to pay upfront with Venmo or check. Even though in the past Angieslist took care of the payment.

They did an excellent job and Jerry is very personable. He was helpful and right on time. He knows we're selling our house and want it to look great.
