The JES brand has grown to become a professional team of over 450 repair experts providing over 70,000 engineered solutions for residential and commercial properties across Virginia, Maryland and beyond. They currently maintain offices in Appomattox, Baltimore, Chester, Manassas, Roanoke, and Virginia Beach. Rep. gave us a price but when the construction crew show up they said they couldn't do with doing a lot of additional work which would be at our expense. We did not do anything. We had made a payment up front which was refunded

I asked them for an estimate and they were slow to respond at all, and then they went completely incommunicado after playing phone tag for over a week to get them to send someone out to look at the crawlspace. I wanted to discuss things with them before signing anything. We heard NOTHING from them for MONTHS! I wound up using a competitor of theirs. I received an email from Angies list saying that JES claimed they did the job and asking me to leave a review about the experience. I am submitting this review to say they are LYING!

We had an internal gutter system put in our leaky basement and though there was a hiccup along the way, that was taken care of immediately, all-in-all they did very good work and were very good to work with. Highly recommended

The individual they utilize to do the.dig out is not licensed, insured or bonded. JES warranties do not cover or apply to this individual and his crew. Despite assurance that they would rectify JES has not. The complete encapsulation project has not been able to proceed due to their failure and or refusal to have their subcontractors on excavation work to meet basic requirements for licensure, insurance , bondability and warranty coverage.

Everything went great. They thoroughly explained the process and costs ahead of time. Once they began they found asbestos we didn’t know we had and had to stop working. Even though it’s not a service they offer they were able to help us find a company to remove the asbestos and once it was removed they quickly started working again and got the job done very fast.

The project went well, although it was quite noisy when the old beams were removed. JES predicted that the work would take 3 days, and they hit the nail on the head. Although I feel that the sunroom is now safe and secure and won't collapse, the initial problems that surfaced from the foundation issues (windows and doors not closing properly) were not able to be fixed. Overall, though, I was pleased with the work that JES performed.

JES sent 4 employees (Jake Foreman, Justin Co-foreman, Dede, and Damon) who were Professional, Punctual and a did Quality Work. I was very impressed with their work ethic and willingness to go the extra mile!!! I would hire JES again if in the future I have an additional jobs for them to complete.

Carl came out to do the inspection and was great. He looked at where my concerns were inside my home and outside. Afterwards he showed me what he was looking for in certain areas of my home and went into great detail as to why I shouldn’t be concerned. From his inspection he determined nothing needed to be done. However, if anything does need to be done, I’ll be calling JES.

Great! This is a rental house and we used to worry everytime it rained, has rained a LOT since this was done and no leaking!

Awful. The quality of products is fine, however the labor and service provided was dreadful. After initial install, water was coming up through the floor where the perimeter system was installed near the main sewage line out of the house. JES returned, dug up the spot, and repaired it. The following morning everything in my house was overflowing. Had to call an emergency plumber to come. Turns out, JES filled my main sewage line with concrete and rock, blocking any outgoing water or waste (how/why they thought this was a good idea, I'll never know. They don't have an explanation). The emergency plumber had to replace six feet of main sewage line. JES returned for the third trip and made the repair to the perimeter system, again. After final completion, my basement was left a mess with the floor covered in concete remnants and dust. I had to mop the floor myself at least a half dozen times before it was close to being clean. I paid for skilled labor and received half ass labor, at best. JES discounted me 17% and paid for the emergency plumber, which is still high way robbery. It took them two months to negotiate that price with me, at which point I had just had enough and caved to paying. I'm sure that's part of their strategy as well. Drag it out until you're sick of it. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. Lost wages having to stay home from work, lost time, damage to my basement from flooding and overflowing pipes, etc. Find someone else!!!

The project has taken months! The first crew dug the footers in the wrong place and the next crew came in and put the post/jacks in the wholes and did not catch that they were wrong. It failed inspection and had to be redone. The next crew put the wholes in the right place but the jacks were not hitting the joists as they should and again failed county inspection. Funny a crew came to fix that issue but stated the poles had been cut to short so they couldn't Jack the house up as much as need. We finally got call saying they were coming to fix that and no one showed up and it's been a week and we have not heard a word from them. Every contact has had to be initiated by me. They are poor at communication and never sent the same crew twice.
