I will begin by saying that I am pleased with the finished product and believe that JES employees are knowledgeable about what they do.  They are professional, but if there had been a category above for communication - I would have assigned an "F".  My story turned into a saga requiring three different scheduled dates with different crews as a result of the poor communication between office and crew, between office and inspector, and between JES and I regarding the work to be done and the material needed to finish that work.
They completed the work to meet my expectations, but it required many phone calls to reach that point.  Check over your contract carefully and be aware that if a detail is not written, it is not included.  (Example: Most of the insulation under my house was in good condition, but some sections were hanging and the first crew that installed drainage removed a small hanging section that was probably in the way as they worked.  Because insulation was not mentioned in my contract, I had to call the office to have that section replaced.)
I might use them in the future due to the quality of the materials and the hard work of the crews, but I would be keeping a written log of conversations with the company.

We are waiting for  the job to be done-Due to our wet year  their schedule is very busy-but their  service is so impressive we are willing to wait. Will be happy to report more details later .Received a letter a few days ago detailing exactly what to expect on the day of work and offering helpful advice . This company seems to truly value its customers.

He returned on time on the date he stated he would do the work.  My husband supervised the work, and stated that he completed the work in a reasonable amount of time.  He cleaned up behind himself very well.  I give Evergreen an "A" on price, because although they charge more than some other people, we have neighbors who have gotten someone who charged less, but then had more water problems in the basement after the work was done.
The original work was done in May, 2012, and we have had a very nice, dry basement ever since then.  We used to have to rent a wet-dry vac after almost every big rain storm.  The basement has remained dry despite a very wet, rainy summer this year, and rain and straight-line winds from a derecho at the end of June, 2012.  Evergreen suggests that you get a checkup of your system once a year, so we had them come back this August to do an inspection.  Everything was still fine.  The cost of the inspection is $98.

Bryce Blais was an outstanding source of information and support.  After determining that my crawl space would not benefit from JES services, he went back under my teeny crawl space to determine the source of moisture in my old farmhouse. He assessed the problem and then spent almost an hour providing his professional expertise and advice. He sent me an email so that I could ask him more questions.  I was extremely impressed with this young man.  He was so knowledgeable, kind, and professional. He gave me very practical advice to deal with the moisture in my crawl space.  All at NO cost!  I felt so much better after listening to his assessment and advice.  Bravo Bryce! Bravo JES Foundation Repair!

Pre-reading materials were excellent and provided good foundation for discussion. The representative was on-time, courteous, and knowledgeable. We have made a final selection of a contractor yet, but Evergreen is certainly in our top 3.

It went pretty good.  I don't have any major complaints.  They did have to come back and fix a few things, but they did it correctly.

A thoroughly professional job from start to finish.
After I set up the initial appointment I received a comprehensive booklet on the services Evergreen provided. The representative was on time and came equipped with camera and laptop. After he inspected the crawlspace he prepared a presentation and an estimate of the work required which he then reviewed with me.
Once I selected Evergreen the scheduling and preparation was very organized. They have great project management in place. I received post cards confirming the date and detailing the electrical work needed. I just handed the electrical post card to my electrician and he knew immediately what needed to be done and provided an estimate on the spot.
Evergreen took care of notifying the utility companies to come out and mark water and gas lines.
The installation crew arrived within the scheduled window. After reviewing the work to be done with me they went right to work and completed the job the same day. The clean up was great - could not even tell they had been in  my yard, except for the new drain.  The Evergreen team coordinated well with the electrician so the entire job was completed in one day.
I received an evaluation form from Evergreen shortly after the job was completed. I had occasion to call the office with a follow-up question and the staff was very responsive and addressed my question at once.
I am very satisfied with this company and would recommend them.

Work was adequately completed as contracted, but "extra" costs/items were "needed" - way more expensive (about
$2000) than we initially were quoted.  Contractors had to come back and finish work at a later date due to the fact
they did not complete the job as contracted - once they were informed they did come out very quickly and finish the
job.
Response from JES Foundation Repair
"I'm sorry that you are unhappy with your JES experience. We strive to provide everyone with the best solution and design at the time of the inspection. Occasionally our installers find that more materials may be needed in order to complete the job correctly. While this is a rarity, it does happen, and this is why we continue to educate our inspectors and installers on the products, installation techniques and safety practices. I would like to speak with you further about your situation. If you would please give me a call, when it's convenient for you, I'd appreciate it. Respectfully, Scott Davis, VP 866-370-4816"

From the first call, Evergreen was responsive, on time and completed the work  ahead of time.  They were available for phone questions.  All appointments were kept and they were there when they said that they would be. They did exactly what they described in the estimate, cleaned up and worked efficiently.

Overall, the workers were quite nice and seemed knowledgeable.  However, their clean up and restoring the foundation in a "final" condition was not sufficient and we should have been informed as to how the property was going to be left.

I called Evergreen Basement Systems to come and look at my mom's 1950's basement and provide an estimate for waterproofing.  They arrived on time and drove 3 hours to get to her house.  An estimate was provided and my mom was giving a 5% discount if she scheduled the work to be done within one week.  On the day of the work, the workers arrived early, put down protection on the floor, performed the work flawlessly and cleaned up when they were done.   Work was completed on time and at the price quoted.

Our basement developed a settlement crack over the past year. Nowater was observed despite some heavy rain until we had a huge storm that dumped several inches of rain in a short period of time.  I contacted Evergreen Basement Systems and they sent somebody out at the appointed time (actually 1/2 hour early after calling first to see if it was o.k.) for an estimate.  The company representative was extremely organized and very professional in all aspects.  He thoroughly explained everything and answered all my questions.  The workers arrived on time. Both were very profesional in their approach to the job, completing it in less time than estimated.  They answered my questions and didn't mind me sitting in the basement observing what they did.  After finishing up, they cleaned up the slight mess, answered a couple more questions and left.  I am extremely happy with the way things turned out.

They did a great job; the job came out excellent. The price was stiff and I was not able to find comparable pricing on it so it was difficult to equate. I was unable to find anybody else who did this kind of work. The quality of service and responsiveness was very good. I will use them again in the future.

The workers were extremely friendly, very punctual and professional, and when they encountered problems they worked hard to resolve them.   They warned us before they started that occasionally they hit plumbing lines; and in our home, they did indeed break a vent line which ran along the footing.  They repaired it and moved on.  Unfortunately, however, the vibration from the jackhammer apparently shook something loose in our septic line, and it backed up almost immediately.  We had to have a plumber come to snake our line out to our septic tank.   This was not expected, and they did not actually hit the line; but I thought I should put that out there for those with older homes like ours.  It was an unpleasant and costly surprise.

We also had to have an electrical line installed to accommodate the sump pump prior to the installation--it is recommended they be placed on their own breaker line; and we had to have 2 installed (one for each line).  There was lots of dust everywhere, even though they covered things and sealed off our door to the upstairs.  They cleaned the floor well before they left, but there was still lots of dust to clean after they left.  We also had some jackhammer vibration damage on our fireplace hearth.  I pointed this out to them on their return visit to install the wallboard and they have promised to come repair it.

The wallboard installation was very straightforward; they cut the wallboard outside to minimize dust; and the installation utilized a clip kind of method between the boards.

We had one very heavy rain a few weeks after the installation; the new concrete became damp, but there was no water in the basement.  They told me the damp concrete is typical when it has not had time to set enough.  Because my basement can go months, even years, between flooding incidents, I cannot say for certain this system works; but the indications are good.  I will have to update after it has had a significant test.

Based on the company's responsiveness and general professionalism, I highly recommend them.  I just have to see if it actually works...and for the money, I sure hope so!

I am updating this review 2/26/2013--We have had several rains which have caused our new basement waterguard system and pump to kick in, and I can say this system does indeed work!  It was a joy to watch that water pumping out into the yard instead of into my basement!  Evergreen still has not repaired our fireplace hearth, however...still waiting on that...otherwise great job!

We used Evergreen Basements Systems to pour basements for us. My husband is a contractor and he used them for pouring basements. We felt the pricing was reasonable and they were professional and did the work well. If we needed this type of work done again we would call them.

i made an appointment for a free est for foundation work on my home at a certain time.  the guy called and asked if he could come earlyer which was fine but something happen to him on the way over. i think he said a flat tire which made him arrive at the reg appointment time as before which was fine. the guy that came out seemed nice and explained everything, but the thing that got me was the quote he gave me. it was way more then i expected. i was thinking  a $5000 or even a $10,000  charge for the work but he quoted me $32,000 that's the  price of all most buying a house. i asked him could i get a copy of the est. and he said he was going to email it to me but i never got it through email. i don't know what happened with that end of it. i never called back. i'm not sure if i would use this company or not because the thing that bothers me is the quote and far as the work i didn't have any done so i don't know if i would use this company or not. ....(update) on aug 23,2011 evergreen sent me the email of the est. that was to be sent.

They were wonderful. This is a marvelous service that many houses in our area need because they flood during rainy periods. Ours is an old house and it has been doing that. It wasn't really flooding, but it was always wet down there, so they put plastic sheeting all over the whole basement to direct the water to the outside. It is wonderful. They are marvelous workers. They are dedicated and we have recommended them. They inspect the system every year so I like that. Their quality of service is excellent. If we have something that we think might be wrong, they are over here to check it within a couple of hours. They have been very good about answering questions and providing information about this service.
