Home Building
They asked for 25% up front. Pay the next 25% after 6 weeks. We did not have the next portion and asked them to postpone the work. When we did have the money, we gave them the additional 25% and then we received a letter stating that they would not finish the job unless we paid it in full. We have enuph money to finish the project but we are not comfterable paying for the entire ammount before the work has been completed in certin stages. We would agree to even have a bank hold on to the money and once the work is complete the money would be released to them. They stated they do not want to agree to that because we were late with a payment on the 2nd phase. We have already paid them for phase 2 after being a little late and now they want full payment.
