Adam showed up. Displayed very poor interpersonal skills. Spent a total of about 10 minutes. I paid them $60 for the visit. I would not get any future services from them.

Zou came out in July to fix my ice maker and dishwasher latch. He adjusted the original estimate of working on the latch because I had purchased and installed it, but it wasn't quite right. We used the ice maker off and on for the summer, but didn't use it for a while. When I turned it last week, it started doing the exact same thing as before. Called and they offered to send someone out immediately at no cost even though it had been at least 6 months. When Zou came, he spent about 20 minutes tinkering with it. I've had it on for three days and no problems. They did not charge me for coming back or for Zou's time. To me that is good service.

The technician did not diagnose the problem correctly. He said he hit the "reset" button on the ice maker. (There is no "reset" button on the ice maker.) He said we needed a new ice maker, which was between $200-300 for parts alone. The real problem, which we figured out on our own after he left, was that water had frozen in the line to the ice maker. We unplugged the fridge, let it thaw, and now the ice maker works. The technician never suggested that the water line might be frozen though, per the internet, this is the most common reason for water to suddenly stop flowing to ice maker. Finally, he showed up well beyond the 2-hour window we were given for the service visit.

We were very pleased with the responsiveness, punctuality, communication and professionalism of Superior Appliance's owner and repair personnel. They gave us a three-hour time window; in-between that time, we had something come up, so we called to get a closer estimate of when the repairman would show up. The owner gave his repairman's number, which allowed us to take care of our errand and get back home in time for their service. The repairman was courteous and even had a sense of humor. :-) He fixed our washing machine in under 30 minutes, testing it out and making sure everything was properly working before he left. Also, he gave us a small discount when we mentioned Angie's List, which we really appreciated. (Approximate cost is the base price, before the discount.)

The washer was fixed quickly (within 3 minutes) but the customer service was horrible and the price too high for the little work that was done. The repair person was the business owner which makes all this even more disappointing that this individual is running his business in this manner. First, it was hard to get a clear answer about the breakdown of the total cost. I was given a total and when I asked how much he was charging for the part versus the labor, I kept getting fuzzy answers. I was told that he charges $110 for labor for doing any work but then wouldn't tell me how he calculated labor if it took more time to fix the problem. Then he started telling me that labor fees start when he had to drive somewhere to get a part, which would be fine if he disclosed any of this when I called to schedule the appointment. The more questions I asked, the more belligerent the owner became. It got to the point that he started yelling at me and telling me I didn't know how things worked among other things. Finally, I told him I'd pay him what he wanted despite his unprofessional behavior because I wanted him to leave my home as quickly as possible. He still kept arguing with me in an aggressive manner. I don't wish this upon anyone. I do not recommend this business.

"repair was $286 and not $386.this is a big lie ,customer wanted to pay $50 labor to install a door lock assembly which cost us $210.was threating us by posting a bad review on angis list.the repair took 15 -20 minutes but it more than an hour to order and pick up the part from the supplier."

This was a big deal special. It was fine. It just felt a little unprofessional when I called. I told them to call my phone number. I was at a coffee shop across the street from a rental property. They just showed up, knocked on the door and left. So they had to come back and I had to reschedule. They did not follow directions very well.  If I was going to have significant work done I wouldn't trust them because I look at professionalism and punctuality. I mean, it was okay, but I wouldn't recommend them.

The guy was afraid to do what needed to be done because he was afraid he would break the cook top. He did not quite know exactly what he was doing. We were not communicating very well.

The deal I purchased was for a service call and a $50 discount toward repairs.  The technician refused to apply my credit toward the labor to clear the drain.  I would like to have deal properly applied to my invoice.

He examined the refrigerator and found that even though there had been a temporary problem, everything was working fine now.  He did say that the compressor on the stand alone freezer was not in good shape, and it would not be worth trying to repair the freezer when it eventually stopped working.  It has been four weeks and everything is still working.  I am pleased that it still works because I have had such bad luck with refrigerators in this house.

He tried to charge me $175.00 but after I reminded him the diagnosis was included in my original Angie's List payment he reduced the price.  I called the manager after he left complaining about the situation and received a $50.00 refund.  I still ended up spending $100.00 for dishwasher diagnosis and attaching the oven handle.

It took the repair man about 2 min.to fix the dishwasher because he knew what he was doing. I called later to ask about a loud noise coming from my clothes washer. He diagnosed the problem over the phone and said it would not be worth my money for him to come out since the transmission was going and the only thing I could really do was buy a new washer. I really appreciated his honesty.

Worst responsiveness I have ever seen.  Took the afternoon off from work to meet the rep at my home between 1:00 and 3:00. 
A waste of $50.00.  More importantly, I wasted far more money by taking the afternoon off from work.  Can you give a lower rating than a F?  I will think twice before I ever buy a deal on Angies List again.

"We normally call customers before going to their homes. You did not respond when we called you , and then you called back and said that you were home all the day. We can't just show up at your house without calling you first so there will not be any Waste of time and gas and that's why we ask for phone numbers."

The repair was made, but it only took 10 minutes and I was surprised my $50 credit didn't cover it.  It cost an addition $75.  In hindsight, I should've tried the repair on my own.
