The contractor returned the call quickly and came over to view the area the next day; he was dressed neatly. He spent about a couple of hours in the house discussing the project and giving great cost saving ideas. He provided an estimate within a couple of days. The work began in approximately two weeks after I first contacted him. The contractor came on time and covered the area from the entrance to the stairs leading to the basement. He cleaned up after every work day. The contractor worked hard from about 8:30 a.m. until about 5:00-6:00 p.m. every day; he took several 15 minute breaks (my mother was in the house while the work was going on). He finished the project in 3.5 weeks. Overall, I was impressed with the level of professionalism and honesty of this contractor. I have recommended this contractor to several of my friends who have already began their remodeling projects with him.
