This older man MATT took on a job that was too large. He initially showed up with a hired worker to put the new floor down over a weekend and then the rest was on him alone. He busted the new bathroom tile forcing a piece of wood against it then denied all fault despite it being perfect before he started. He was very unprofessional and argumentative as I asked questions regarding the quality of work and him spilling poly on the newly installed floor. He lied about saying the floors would be blended and about the time frame needed to finish. He told other lies about the coats needed and drying time despite us going on vacation for 10 days. Ultimately He ruined the floor and it must be redone. He has deep scratches throughout that he did purposely because the developer wanted him to sand again due to it being rough and sticky. He literally dragged his equipment across the new floor anc over sanded in multiple areas. Do not hire this Man. He ignored the women who were paying him and did a horrible job. I wish I could post these photos. Do not waste your time or money.

Matt was very punctual and easy to work with. He came when he said he would and he gave me a great price for the work. My floors look fabulous!

Matt came over to meet with us before we moved in to new house. Then, he met with us again at the new house after move-in. Very good value for the great upgrade as far as the look of our wood floors is concerned! My sister saw the before and after in person, and just couldnâ  t believe it was just refinishedâ  she thought the wood floors are new! Our friends who have visited us love the floors. Our selling agent for our old house saw the wood floors on our new house and this pro was also impressed. The only thing we wished they could have done are the rails on the stairs. But, Matt was upfront and disclosed to us that the railings are just hard if not impossible to refinish. Also, Matt recommended to us a stain that blends well with existing rails and cabinets, so, itâ  s not a big deal.

At the end of the summer, I had pulled up wall-to-wall carpet in two bedrooms, the stairs, landing and hallway to find that part of the wood floor underneath was unfinished, and the finish was wearing off in other areas. Another area needed repair. After getting several quotes for refinishing (including repairing a patch and replacing shoe molding), I chose Hardwood Floors Unlimited, and I was not disappointed. I had a quote from Matt and found his pricing to be very competitive. We scheduled to start a week later. Matt answered all of my questions, explaining the whole process to me. They arrived on time (even a few minutes early) and went right to work. I chose a water-based finish, so I was able to stay at the house during the project. They are such a great team and they were so nice to my pups who were curious and wanting to say hello. The project was completed on time, and everything was spotless when they left. My floors look fabulous! I am very happy with the results, and would absolutely book them for my other flooring when I'm ready to tackle a second project. You will not be disappointed if you choose Hardwood Floors Unlimited!

Representative was professional from start to finish. I did not play telephone tag. I always talked to someone when I called. Company was flexible. Scheduled the repairs for the same week. They arrived early. I had a mix up on the material and they agreed to return to do the work at 0800 on a Saturday. They were on time and finished the work beautifully, so far. They worked fast and I felt that they were fair.

Job was timely. Floors turned out beautiful. Matt and his team were on time,polite and clean. Great job!

Great experience. Matt suggested we look at the manufacturer site for replacement flooring to select the wood type and color options. He did an excellent job and the flooring is better than expected. There was no mess or dust to clean up. Will hire him for the next floor project.

I meant the select 5 stars but fat-fingered my entry. Hardwood Floors Unlimited was very responsive, affordable and they did a great jog. My project was relatively small and they fit me into their schedule in less than a week. Great experience with this contractor.

The quality of work was excellent. Matt provided guidance regarding decisions about types of polyurethane and stains. He showed up on time and completed then work as promised to our complete satisfaction. The sanding process fixed a place where the finish had completely worn off the hardwood floor. The sander vacuumed the saw dust leaving us pleasantly surprised as to how little saw dust had to be cleaned up. The refinished floor looks beautiful. I highly recommend Hardwood Flooring Unlimited for refinishing hardwood floors.

They came in and turned our dinged and scratched up hardwoods and made them look like a million dollars.

HFU did a great job. Matt was responsive and reliable. The floors on the main level were completely refinished in natural color with 4 coats of finish. The floors look great. I highly recommend HFU.

I hired Hardwood Floors Unlimited (HFU) for two jobs: refinishing several contiguous floors and, later, installation of a new foyer floor. Matt and his team did a fine job on both. I definitely recommend HFU.

Even before we hired HFU, Matt (owner), after giving us the estimate, told us things to watch for no matter who we hired and if we eventually did all or part of the job ourselves. That kind of support went a long way in our deciding to hire Matt to refinish a highly-detailed oak curved stairway refinishing job and the original wood floors in the upstairs hallway. Matt and his assistant arrived and got to work promptly, cleaned up as they went in order to minimize dust and "inside air pollution," and when they finished on day 2 left us with work he and we can be proud of--and the price was far more reasonable than we expected. When we need more floor work (complete installation on the lower level, refinish bedroom floors upstairs), we'll call him first and likely won't even get estimates from others. He's that good and that honest--a real pleasure to work with.

Hired Hardwood Floors Unlimited to do several Handyman Jobs in my office and Matt Souri (Owner) did performed outstanding for each of the jobs I asked him to complete. Matt replaced and repaired office ceiling tiles so they looked brand new. Matt also hung a large wall covering to decorate one wall in my office. Matt assembled several types of new boxed Ikea office furniture. Last but not least, Matt provided the best professional customer service I ever received. He was very polite even when the work got hard, he kept smiling! I would recommend hiring Matt Souri for any home improvement work.

Hardworking , honest and gets the job done. He is good at small jobs as well as complete replacements.
