Can't really say anything went wrong besides Covid supply delays. Took on an extensive remodeling to include structural rebuild to provide an exceptional open space environment. Looked at five other firms and Elite's bid was by and far the best! Elite will be our choice for our next remodel!

Elite Contractors did a fabulous job building our new custom ALU addition and “dream porch”. From concept to completion Elite strived to fulfill our vision of the porch while maintaining FFC’s strict requirements for the new ALU/Tiny House rental. Once the permit was approved, work began and continued until the new house and porch were complete. Elite has their own crews, and they are amazing in every way! Ken was on-site each day to address any concerns, and Ana worked tirelessly behind the scenes on permitting and design. Top-most was the concern to create our vision of the porch, and Elite exceeded anything we could have imagined on both the porch and tiny house. Thank you Ken and Ana!

We added a foyer to the front of our house and are happy with the results. This is our fifth project with Ken and his team over the past six years, including bathrooms, new kitchen and adding a deck. They always do great work and finish on schedule.

Ken and his team were great! Responsive, clean, efficient and the quality of workmanship was flawless. Our project involved a 1000 sf addition to include kitchen, bathrooms and primary bedroom all on a 100+ year old home and required expert carpentry, management of aged plumbing and antiquated wiring. Unlike so many in the construction industry, Elite Contracting is truly a professional organization. I will absolutely use them for our future remodeling needs.

We used Elite Contractors Services for a $150,000 renovation in Falls Church. From Day 1 they were extremely professional and responsive. Ken and Ana made the entire process extremely easy for us! From submitting all permit applications promptly, to sending a detailed list of finished materials I needed to order for them, the process was very smooth! They took on several change orders that weren't part of the original scope of work. I was very impressed that every day when I came by the property they had at least 5 people there working tirelessly. As someone who works in house flipping, I know how hard it can be to find reliable contractors who show up on time and complete a job without endless delays. Elite Contractors is a gem! Will gladly work with them again for future projects!

It gives me great pleasure to write this review for Elite Contractors Services Inc. Our journey with them began when our dishwasher decided that we needed a kitchen remodel. Our neighbors referred Elite to us and had nothing but great things to say about the work Elite did for them. From the first time I met Ken I knew he was the one who could mend the damage done to our family home. During our initial visit, I shared my ideas with Ken. Some of the ideas I had could be done, while other ideas Ken advised against as he saw it as nothing more than spending additional money without achieving the results I wanted. It is rare to find a company that will provide this kind of advice. The contract we signed was based off a payment for completion timeline. For example, the first payment was due upon completion of the demo. This continued throughout the project; payments were not due until milestones were completed. When I asked Ken about this, he said, “It’s not your responsibility to make sure my team gets paid, that’s my responsibility. You will not pay anything to me until your project reaches each of these milestones.” Elite estimated 3 months to complete our project, but we were finished in 9 weeks. Your project is Elite’s priority and Ken is on site daily ensuring that every detail is perfect! His team is skilled, professional, courteous, respectful, and will not miss a single detail. This also extends to those with whom he sub-contracts. The other half of this amazing duo is Ana. Ana handles the design and selection of finishes for the project. Ana has a keen eye for choosing the perfect compliments to your desired outcome. She is honest and not afraid to share an opinion which my wife and I truly appreciated. Her knowledge of design, trends, and price points really set her apart from any of her competitors. She will never try to upsell you and when presenting options, all of them are within your budget. They are phenomenal communicators! Every time my wife and I had a question, they promptly responded. We were never left wondering about anything. I have heard horror stories about other contractors not returning phone calls or emails. This simply does not happen with Ken and Ana. Both of them told us if we ever have questions, do not hesitate to ask them. Even the occasional 8 p.m. question did not go unanswered! From start to finish, we could not be happier with our new kitchen and dining room. Their team delivered our project on budget, ahead of schedule, and gave our family a kitchen we never thought possible. My wife got her pantry, I got my bar area, and our family got a kitchen that will be a gathering place for friends and family for years to come.

Choosing a contractor was as difficult as it was frustrating in the beginning. Many places were unresponsive, too “busy” or would only take your project if you’d spend “X” dollars. I hated this process and thought it would never end, but that was until I came across Elite Contractors Services on Angies. Their gallery on Angies doesn’t speak to the true breadth and diversity of work he has done (I’ve told him, he needs to put more photos up, LOL - a little joke between him and I) but after working with him I understand why he hasn’t; he and his wife are busy responding to and making sure his customers are happy. We met Ken soon after engaging him. He is a very pleasant man with a wealth of experience and knowledge in the construction industry, and although he loves to have a good laugh he’s also a straight shooter, which I greatly appreciate. To have a General Contractor be as responsive and interested in your project was a breath of fresh air; even better was that he continued this responsiveness throughout the entire project! Once we had a contract established Ken put us in touch with his excellent Architect Ned. With his excellent eye for design and helpful suggestions, we were very pleased with our final design and couldn't be happier. We were ready and so was Ken. Some preliminary engineering checks were performed on our foundation and it was discovered that we didn’t have sufficient footers to support a second-story. Ken gave us the options we had and so we moved ahead with the additional scope of underpinning our foundation and lowering our basement by two feet since the slab would be destroyed. It was January 2022 at this point and even with supply chain constraints (especially with wood), COVID and inflation craziness Ken as he was somehow ahead of the curve and prepared enough with our project to be able to provide us with a 6 month estimate for everything to complete (July timeframe). I was skeptical to say the least and especially anxious because I had a construction loan with an interest rate lock banking on this man’s estimate. The underpinning was completed in two months as promised, all done by hand, insane!! The second story began and we were able to meet the entire Elite Contractors Service’s family! The workers Ken employs are all amazing people and excellent professionals who work exceedingly hard and put their heart and souls into their craft. They were also so efficient, they ripped off our old roof, and put up the new roof within a week. and even though they didn’t have to during those few days in between, they placed a huge tarp over our place to protect our home. I felt they treated our home as if it was their own home. In comparison, a house down the street from us was roof-less for a month before they got their materials in to build; meaning it was exposed to the weather and elements. During the project I was introduced to Ana Blanco, Ken’s better half who helped us with expenses, material purchasing such as tile, vanities, fixtures, lighting etc. She was super sweet, helpful and made that process straightforward and worry-free. When the finishing touches were ready to be made, Ken’s team were once again so helpful. They would ensure every detail was accounted for, especially specifics, such as mirror, light heights, or the placement of vanities for example. They painted and touched up spaces part of renovation, but also spaces that were affected indirectly by construction, and of course corrected any issues you had immediately. Ken called this his “Elite Treatment”, and Elite it was! My wife and I put our faith in Ken wholeheartedly, and we are glad we did, even with a few ordering issues and special orders he and his team were still able to hit the promised 6 month mark almost perfectly! I think Ken’s new nickname ought to be the “Magic Man.” We feel blessed to have Ken and his team on the job for home renovation, because not only did we make our home beautiful we were able to make a few friends along the way.

Over a four year span Ken and Ana helped us design and remodel our Master and kids bathroom, build a new guest suite bath, rebuilt our office and reestablished the original architecture at the front of the house, repainted the whole home, and rebuilt our basement. They were amazing and we wish we could pack them up to move to Vermont with us to build our new home. Great team from Ana helping us design to Ken and his team of builders - many of the same people we saw over the four years. After using other contractors - we finally landed on the perfect one. AND they stand behind their work years after they are done.

Ken and his crew were outstanding. they arrived on time everyday and left the site each day clean. They completed the job ahead of schedule. Excellent company and I highly recommend them.

We had a great experience with Ken and his team on our Rosemont, Alexandria expansion project. After sketching out what we wanted, we met with several contractors to request bids. Not only was Ken’s bid competitive, but he suggested several significant changes to the plans that we ended up incorporating into our design. The entire design / build process was fast and efficient, and we are extremely pleased with finished product. Throughout the construction, Ken was onsite daily and responsive to any issues that came up. It was clear that Ken has a wealth of experience in the field and enjoys what he does. I can’t say enough good things about the crew – they were friendly, talented, and professional. Their attention to detail was impressive and they went above and beyond in all aspects of their work. We also enjoyed working with Ana on the kitchen and bath design and finish selections. At the end of the day, Elite Contractors Services exceeded our expectations, and we hope to work with the team again on another project.

We can't say enough about working with Ken and Elite Contractors Services. The job was on time and on budget and they do very high quality work. They were extremely reliable, professional and left the job site clean every day. Elite Contractors Services Inc did an excellent job updating the first floor in our home. Ken was always available to answer any and all questions we had throughout the project, as well as offer suggestions, whether by phone or when he stopped in throughout the days while the work was being done. Everything was done in the amount of time promised and very efficiently. Ken's team also payed significant attention to detail and were extremely precise in bringing our vision for our foyer to life in a way that exceeded our expectations. Should we have another project in the future, we would certainly call Ken, and we highly recommend Elite Contractor Services Inc for any home renovations.

The work went well and the final product is excellent - the part of the house that we were going to leave alone now looks shabby, so we're bringing them back in to do that as well!

It is a pleasure to work with Ken and Ana at Elite. The entire crew is very impressive in their skills and work ethic. The project always looked organized and clean. Ken is great at estimating the time and the cost for the project. They have figured out how to do as much as possible with the challenges getting product on a schedule. I appreciated the constant communication, which is necessary on a job that has so many details that matter. Details are important to me and Ken was always willing to talk to me about the details and find a solution. What a team! No more popcorn ceiling. Ken and his team removed the old popcorn ceiling and replaced. We had new crown molding added and couldn't be more pleased with the attention to detail when painting. Our kitchen is now more open, as the entrance was increased by 3 feet. Once again Ken and his team have exceeded all of our expectations! Thank you Ken!

Recently purchased a two level home. Basically everything was original and out of code. I researched and saw Ken's company. I made an appointment 3 weeks out. He showed up on-time without having to remind him or call him. We walked thru the house and provided a detailed project scope, room by room. I worked with Anna on interior designing/material selections. Both Ken and Anna was both very honest and straight forward, easy to work with. They communicated well, and was always reachable throughout the project. They provided a time-line of when each component of the house will be completed. Most component was completed early, never late. His crew of employees are HIS employees. Not day laborers, though I have nothing against them, but you want consistency of the quality of work so having same group is vital. They show up everyday they said they would, on-time and actually puts in a FULL DAYS WORK. I checked arrival and departure times throughout the project. They completed the project ahead of schedule. Are they the most in-expensive, no. Even they would tell you that, but they are competitive compared to other professional companies. The reviews and pictures you see on the websites is what caught my attention. Now that the project is complete, I can say they are as good - if not better, than advertised. Do you research, talk to Ken.

We had Elite Contractor Services build a 2-story addition on to our home and convert our previous bedroom into a new master bath. We could not be happier with the entire process or with the results. Our new addition looks terrific, Ken and his team worked with care and consideration for us throughout, and the project was completed exactly on schedule. Ken was closely involved in the project from beginning to end and kept us well-informed. He offered suggestions and recommendations for ways to save money or avoid pitfalls that he had seen other projects experience. Ana worked with us to ensure the tile and paint selections looked great. The project has come in exactly at the projected cost (plus some additions we chose, such as re-shingling our entire roof, rather than just the new addition). The quality is excellent, and when minor issues came up, he and his team fixed them promptly. This is the second project we have done with Ken and his team. Both have exceeded our highest expectations. We can enthusiastically recommend Elite Contractor Services to anyone who is looking for a terrific experience with their contractor.

Elite Contractors Services, Ken and Ana, just completed another fantastic job on a huge remodeling project for us. A few years ago, Elite remodeled one room in our basement and when we were ready for a much bigger project (kitchen and second story master bedroom additions) we knew exactly whom we wanted to work with. Both a few years back, and during this project, his team went above and beyond anything we could have expected and were dedicated to getting every detail perfect. Another reviewer has written that Ken has assembled a group of artisans and we could not agree more. Many of the workers were the same folks who had worked on our basement a few years ago; the fact that his people stick with the company for many years speaks volumes for Ken and Ana’s integrity. We felt that the whole crew treated us like family. Ken was on site daily to make sure we were completely happy with the progress and understood each of the steps in the process. Ken’s extensive experience was instrumental in transforming our remodeling plan from something great to something phenomenal. In particular, he made suggestions for our kitchen design that dramatically improved the usable space, flow, and functionality. His team works with expert efficiency, and they completed the project in a spectacularly short period of time, even considering the many hurdles imposed by the ongoing pandemic. We had Elite build us a Sunroom Addition that had a lot of special order materials and unique challenges based on the particular configuration our space. Elite was very professional and did an excellent job on this project, especially their finishing work. Elite worked with multiple vendors and installers to pull everything together for our space. While there were some bumps along the way, as is the case with every construction project, Elite made sure that any problems were addressed quickly and correctly making this one of the best contracting experiences we have had. Our new space is better than we envisioned and has already provided countless hours of enjoyment for our family. Thank you Elite!

In 2014 Elite conducted excellent design/remodeling/general contractor work in our Georgetown DC home. Earlier this year (through no fault of Elite) our bathroom faucet bathtub hit the end of its lifecycle and broke and the control (off/on) fell below into the unreachable tile platform supporting the bathtub. Although there was not a water leak, the water could not be turned off without shutting off all the water for the floor. With two children under four, an ongoing deep freeze spell outside, my wife working full time, and me being deployed to Iraq with the military, my wife knew there were limited options and time to fix the situation without major disruption. Although far beyond his scope of responsibility/warranty, Ken knew my family was in need and without hesitation sent over immediate help. This summarizes the kind of person Ken and his company are. He had nothing to gain, owed nothing, expected nothing in return, but knew we were in a difficult situation and wanted to help. Thank you.

We have been extremely happy with the quality and care of work done by Ken and his team at Elite Contractor Services. Our project was to demo an old side porch and hot tub deck and replace them with a new mudroom, powder room, and screened-in porch in the same footprint. We are so happy with the work Elite did that we are moving ahead with them on a second, larger renovation project. We initially spoke with Ken about our project before the pandemic. Out of the three contractors we consulted, his estimate came in the middle. We went with the low estimate—not with Ken. It would have saved us time, trouble, and money if we had gone with him to begin with! The other contractor backed out of the project at the last minute, so we wound up coming back to Ken after we already had plans and permits approved by the city from the other contractor. The first contractor’s low bid had grown substantially through the planning process—Ken bid almost exactly the new number and finished the project with only 4% cost growth (mostly due to a mutually-agreed change in the heating/cooling system). Whenever minor design challenges came up, Ken worked with us to find a solution that made us happy while also keeping costs under control. One of the most important things to us was safety and care on the job site, and Ken’s team was spectacular. They were conscientious about wearing masks and made sure that the site was safe. They also worked hard to minimize the amount of mess created when they had to work in the main part of the house. Ken’s team was careful, thorough, and did high quality work. Ken visited the work site frequently to check on how things were going and keep us well-informed. We are very happy with our new mudroom, powder room, and screen porch, and are looking forward to working with Elite Contractor Services on our larger renovation later this summer.

Ken and his team did an absolutely amazing job on our full basement renovation. Elite Contractors provided an extremely competitive quote for our Renovation and stuck to our budget throughout the whole project, despite me making several changes. The quality of the work for all components of this project, to include drywall, paint, bathroom installation, tiling, addition of an exterior door, etc, were all very professionally and cleanly done. The team always adhered to COVID protocols and were very friendly, professional, and trustworthy. If you want your project done right the first time, and with superior customer service, I would recommend Elite Contractors.

Absolutely ELITE! After 2 full bathroom remodels and a new office for my wife and since we have had such great previous experiences with Ken and his team. When it came to installing new handrails, pin top balusters, shoe rail and newel posts we once again elicited the professionals. Since staircases were so new to us we did our due diligence and contacted a couple "stair experts" for ideas and estimates. Importantly I should mention how difficult it was even finding someone willing to install a "s-curve" and gooseneck so that the handrail is continuous around corners. We knew what we wanted and I quickly learned not only was Elite one of the few willing to install a "s-curve" and gooseneck or was even capable of such but the cost was also less than estimates I received which would not include the continuous rail. Obviously there is a difference between doing something and doing something well and in this case we could not be more ecstatic with the final results! I'm not sure where Ken found his carpenter but the guy is a rock star! The attention to detail is clearly evident not only with respect to the handrails, balusters and newel posts but also the shoe and base moldings. After watching the precision he works with and how perfect the final product is, I'm more inclined to call him an artist. This all before we had 9 new doors with new hinges hung. I knew hanging new doors also requires a level expertise... if you want them to close correctly. Elite also provides this service and now we finally have doors in our upstairs bedrooms! In sum, the quality of work is unparalleled, as is the cost. Scale of 1-10, Elite receives 10's across the board! Thank you Ken and your team!
