At the end of the service, he said "Now, make me a check" in a gruff tone. I'm quoting verbatim. There's not reason for people to speak to each other like that - just none at all. I don't mind paying people for good work. I snaked the drain twice and was happy to have a "professional" on the job! Toxic masculinity. Misdiagnosis: For $375, he put 35-feet of snake down my kitchen sink. I had snaked 25-feet myself. He misdiagnosed a gurgling drain and wanted to pass me off to another plumber for a roof vent inspection. So basically no value, here. The next plumber: I called a larger outfit who did a hydrojet + a camera inspection for $575. This provided a thorough cleaning of the pipes and also a correct diagnosis of the problem, which was a bend in the pipes. An extra $200 for a hydro service and a chance to actually see the problem is a no brainer. I'd just go with a larger service.

Abe is extremely professional, prompt, and thorough. He explained the situation well to make sure I understood what he was doing. He works quickly, and cleaned everything up before he left. I'm very satisfied with his work.

Abe is amazing and very thorough. He started by calling me 5 minutes after leaving a message and then had me text pictures of the issue. He came by and took care of the issue, being meticulous and explaining everything to me. It just doesn't get any better than this when you need a plumber.

Abe will be my first call for all future work. I found him cross referencing businesses that are highly rated across review sites. I see why folks that work with him, review him so highly. With the below freezing temperatures approaching I closed off the hose bib shutoff valves and opened the external faucets to drain the water. Unfortunately I found out that the front faucet continued to leak. After calling Abe and leaving a message, he responded quickly, offered a very fair quote, then was on site doing the work later that day. He patiently explained what he was doing and what I needed to do to continue proper maintenance.

The plumber arrived on time and totally prepared to perform the work needed. He began work immediately, showed me what needed to be done, and kept me informed through the process. He completed the work, explained what I needed to do to keep the pipes safe in freezing weather. He cleaned the area completely.

He is the best plumber I have ever worked with. It is a joy to watch someone who is so skilled. He responds quickly, quotes a price in advance rather than charging by the hour and does excellent work. He is a true professional and a rare find.

A bad dishwasher valve was causing flooding in the kitchen. We attempted to turn the water off at the shut-off valve under the kitchen sink, but the shut-off valve also failed.  We needed a plumber to replace the shut-off valve so that we could have water while we got the dishwasher fixed. We called Abe's Plumber Sunday after 5PM.  He answered the phone and was at the house within an hour and had replaced the shut-off valve by 6:30PM.

He was upfront that he could not fix the dishwasher problem, so we knew what work he would perform before he started.  The cost seemed a little high, but he did not add a premium for the weekend call.  Also, we were outside his normal work area.  So considering those factors, the price was probably the best we were going to get, especially on the weekend.

He understood the problem, did the work quickly and professionally, and for the amount that he said he would.  Would definitely recommend him.

I called Abe today about three plumbing problems I had.  He came over within an hour and quickly fixed all three while giving me great advice on how to take care of plumbing systems so I don't continue to have problems.  
Plus, his price was very reasonable.  I'm not putting a price in the "cost of service" block but it was a really good and fair price.
Abe was amazing and far exceeded my highest expectations.  If I ever have another plumbing problem, I'm calling Abe.

Honest Abe!  I called to make an appointment as my kitchen sink was leaking.   He answered the phone and I could tell that he was enroute to another appointment.   He asked me if I had a sprayer device and I said yes.    I told him that it was part of the actual faucet.   He asked me to pull the sprayer part out and turn on the water as he suspected it was because the hose connection was loose.    Voila!   That was the exact problem.   Had I encountered this issue before, perhaps I would have thought to look there myself.   All I had to do was tighten it.   Honest Abe saved me $$ when he at a minimum could have charged me for a visit.  It is 12/31/15 and I was worried I would have to wait until after the holiday weekend to get this fixed.  I will definitely call on him for any future plumbing issues and recommend him.  Honesty and competency all in one!  A rarity these days.
