The piano had not been serviced in 20+ years. It had been in a flood years ago. It was just recently removed from an old mill, with no heating or cooling, where it had been for the past 10 years. Mice had built nests in it and had eaten some of the felts.
We tried to deliver the piano, but the gravel in the uphill driveway was new and thick. A moving service he uses came and got the piano off the trailer we had it on, and delivered it for us. That cost $150.
The piano was ready in no time - about a week. We went to see it and he played some music on it and it sounded GREAT!!
We decided to have the piano delivered to Northern VA. That cost $350.
