Brockman Subaru

A Ratings:
It was easy to schedule an appointment.  The Service Manager, Greg,  checked me in very quickly.  Questions were addressed immediately. The people are very friendly.  I enjoyed my brief chats with Bill and Jean.
B Ratings:
I found the service operation to need a bit more professionalism.  I asked to observe the inspection from ?outside? the service bay.  The Service Manager informed me the inspectors did not like people watching them.  It immediately created a doubt in my mind that the inspectors either felt not fully competent or that they had something they did not want me to see.   Finally upon an uncomfortable discussion with the Service Manager (although friendly), I was walked around to the side of the service area and permitted to observe from the public area ?outside? the service bay.  It was an area that was public use so I was surprised that there was any concern at all that I stand there and observe.  Upon Lee?s inspection completion, I was informed my vehicle had failed the inspection.  I was shown a ½? tear in the rubber of the driver side of my top of the line wiper blades.  The Bosch Blade was about  a year old, so I suppose the tear could have been present without me observing it.   I was given the choice to replace the blade with a $15 bottom of the line blade (probably worth $9), $30 upgraded blade (probably worth $17) or fail my vehicle and return for a complete re-inspection.   Upon
returning home I talked to my neighbor who also uses this inspection station and was informed they also had a wiper replacements required with a past inspection.   Something did not seem quite right with the entire experience and that is why I lowered some of the ratings to a B. 

They were very good. We have been using them forever. I've had Subarus for probably 20 years. I go to them because first of all, they are a Subaru dealer and I have a Subaru. Second of all, they are only a couple of miles from my house. I like the convenience of location and they usually can service the car while I wait. They also have a comfortable room where I can wait.

Best place for routine service work. Pleasant, punctual, courteous, and quick. Nice waiting environment, and if the repair takes more time, they'll give you a free rental car.
