The final result looks ok but not worth the headache of dealing with someone who you have to argue with every step of the way to get a basic job done. He forgot the details of or conversation but was insulted when I began to write down instructions. final cost was 30% over the estimate with no specific itemized bill presented. my windows are painted shut and I can't get them opened. My windows were operational prior to the painting. They opened before they were painted. Now they are stuck. The painter says it is not his responsibility to to return to get the windows opened, and claims they were painted shut on the interior, although no interior painting has been done in years, so, in effect calling me a liar. I have now discovered that the windows were not even opened while being painted so the sills are not fully painted and the upper meeting rails also were not painted, which looks horrible when the window is opened..Two of my neighbors had asked for his name and were ready to use him, but not anymore.
