D. W. Taylor Construction added a new garage to our existing house, which was originally constructed in the late 60’s. One of our chief concerns was that the new addition not look like a mismatched add on. Donnie, the company owner, took great pains to match the old brick, siding, and roof materials. The outcome was phenomenal. Countless friends and neighbors have remarked that the garage “looks like it has always been there.” My husband worked with skilled tradesmen for well over 35 years and is very persnickety regarding construction methods and material quality. It is an understatement to say he was very pleased with the outstanding workmanship and materials. Working with the owner and employees of D. W. Taylor Construction was a delight. Without exception, Donnie answered our calls or returned our messages within a matter of minutes. He was unfailingly responsive to any concerns or questions. Our daily point of contact was a gentleman named Bob, who supervised the subcontractors. (The worst part of the experience was when the job was finished and Bob left.) Bob was great to work with and did a wonderful job. All subcontractors who worked on our project were skilled, neat, and polite. For exemplary work and outstanding professionalism, I heartily recommend D. W. Taylor Construction.

It was a great pleasure working with Donnie, the owner, on my recent renovation project. He was quick to grasp my design ideas and come up with a proposal that offered me great value. While we ultimately went over budget (approx. 10%) the upgrades were well worth it. His crew worked diligently and was very considered throughout the process. On a nightly basis they cleaned up after themselves and ensured that the place was safe and livable for a family with small kids and a dog. I was provided frequent updates on the project and I would be consulted on design ideas that were suitable for our house. The project did take longer than expected but I'd take high quality over rushed work any time. Donnie was super flexible on changes to the design which were all minor but frequent. We had a couple of misunderstandings and Donnie didn't hesitate to make sure that I was totally satisfied with the end result. While I am done renovating my current house I would not hesitate hiring him for future project - should any arise. I would without hesitation recommend him for renovation projects.
