"As a service company we are always looking for ways to improve. We could have handled this better simply by slowing down and taking time to listen. We are always glad to answer any questions. That $75 had no profit in it as there are cost associated with running a business. We value positive feedback and had no unscrupulous intentions by charging a small fee for our trip to your home to help you with a plumbing issue. The technician thought he was coming to snake the drain as often times when there's gurgling that's what it is."
"Thank you for the positive review. Thankful for clients like you..."
"The deal he claimed clearly stated that the $75 was for diagnostics only. It does not cover labor, it does not cover parts, also clearly stated. Check out our page's Plumbing deals and you can see for yourself that this is clearly stated. So complaining that he had to pay $75 to have somebody tell him he had a leak was his own doing. He refused to pay and never did pay the $75 he agreed to for diagnostics. Then he writes a review distorting the facts. We did replace a washer in a very old faucet. We also repaired a leak in another faucet, and caulked a bathtub. If you're reading this as a potential client my question is: Do you think he's right? Could he have done better calling a plumber from the yellow pages to get 2 leaky faucets repaired and a tub caulked for $200? Not to mention that most plumbers charge more when assuming the liability that goes along with repairing a part on a plumbing system with very old components that have a high tendency to break when being messed with. We feel this is just a product of an entitled individual who believes we should have come to his house to do him a favor. We can't make a living in the favor business. Please call us today and trust the hundreds of positive reviews we've received which lay out our commitment to quality work and professional service."
"Thank you for choosing My Hunny Do. We're happy to serve you."
"We never leave work which we've been paid for Incomplete. She never paid us to have those rear garden steps repaired. She ended up becoming so crazy and abusive and lost her mind on numerous occasions and we'd finally had enough. Some examples of her abuse are yelling Gawd Damnit at the top of her lungs on numerous occasions over the course of the job. She continually makes comments about her hatred of men and she uses F bombs frequently. I was at Home Depot with her and she was abusive to the clerk. When he asked her if she wanted the receipt emailed to her she said to him in a shrill voice "just print the F##kin receipt." I was embarrassed for her, him, and myself. We don't allow people to be abusive/crazy and continue to have a working relationship with them. As far as the top step and the wood flooring we did tell her ahead of time that the 2 colors of carpet would be an issue. The 30 year old carpet at the top of her stairs being two different colors can hardly be attributed to us as we didn't install that 30 year old carpet, in 2 different colors. We left that job with a finished threshold at the door to the basement. It's not until you're on the other side of the basement door that the 2 different color carpets begin. So the room she contracted us to replace flooring in has a complete and finished look. She had the angry episode at the Home Depot and we'd finally had enough of her abusive behavior. When we cut her off she wrote this review because she couldn't manipulate or abuse us any longer. We would have fixed anything that she wasn't happy with until she became so abusive that it was impossible to work around her."
"Thanks for choosing My Hunny Do"
"Thanks for choosing My Hunny Do. Being a service provider. We always try to finish the job we're currently working on before going to the next. We would do the same if we were working on your job (that is to finish) even though we had an appointment scheduled elsewhere. Unfortunately this leaves our schedule in flux at times. As she said however, we maintained contact and tried to work with scheduling her to the best of our abilities. Angies list is a forum designed to protect consumers from unscrupulous providers. Please consider this though before you write a less than favorable review because of being offended by small inconveniences such as schedule changes. It makes our phone stop ringing. The nature of online reviews is such that it removes the humanity. We are fathers trying to feed our family's. We do it with a code of treating people fairly, and honest dealings."
"Thanks for choosing My Hunny Do. Contact our office at 571 332 7660 and we will send you an invoice for any work you paid to have done."
