She and her business partner/husband arrived at my home punctually to take a portrait photo for business use.  I ordered a digital photo and two hard copies (extra at $20 each).  The base price of $275 was in line with that of other photographers whom I had also contacted.
Her team provided lighting and staging equipment. For the pre-shoot consultation I appreciated her advice on how to maximize
my presentation for an advantageous photo.
We concurred on which photo shot to select among the numerous ones she took.  She was very prompt in sending me that photo and a subsequent revised photo.
She was very professional in all respects; it was the best photo I have ever had taken in my life!

For an award ceremony, I was informed with only a couple of weeks to go, that I needed a formal portrait of myself in my "work" environment.  Since I worked in the space program, that would be a tricky thing to do.   I found Tracey on Angie's list, and called her, after reviewing the glowing reviews.  After explaining the requirement, she thought for a while, then came up the following day with a terrific idea.  She had done some shots of a shuttle launch, for which she owned the IP , and we quickly agreed that a "green screen" portrait would fit nicely into a view of the shuttle launch in the background.  Within a few days, she came out to the house, where she and Todd quickly set up, shot dozens of frames, then helped us locate the right one to tell the story.  Three days later, she delivered a gorgeous and responsive product. The final product was impeccably shot, cropped, retouched,  and delivered.ahead of our need.  She communicates quickly and responsively, as well. 

Her prices were fair, her work done in less than 10 days, and the portrait is stunning.   I cannot imagine how her work could be improved.  ....it was top notch in every way. 

My son, while very much an extrovert, is not good at posing for photos. It seems strange that he would be self-conscious, but he is. When Tracey and Todd came to my parents' house, Tracey asked me whether I wanted to stay in the room for the shoot or wait elsewhere. I took the gentle hint and waited downstairs. I'm glad I did. I heard lots of spirited conversation going on upstairs and could see lots of flashes going off. I think Tracey could see that my son was a talker, and by engaging him in non-stop conversation she got him to lose his self-consciousness. The photos were GORGEOUS! He looked completely at ease and natural. So my extra plug for Tracey this year is that not only does she take superb photos she has a gift for drawing people out to make them look their best. This combination of excellent photographic technique plus her people savvy skills are why I have traveled three thousand miles for the last two years to engage Tracey's services.

Very professional photo shoot. Beautiful photographs. This is the second time we have had a photo shoot with this photographer. She has an amazing eye for detail and captured the sweetest moments, like when our daughter leaned over to kiss our newborn son on the forehead. We have and will recommend this photographer in the future.

Tracey photographed my promotion ceremony inside the Rotunda of the Charters of Freedom at the National Archives. She did a phenomenal job under difficult conditions. It is very dark there so Tracey did a recon before the ceremony to determine whether she would use a tripod or a monopod. She did this on her own initiative because I was worried about the shots being underexposed. She also coordinated directly with building security to make sure there were no issues with using tripods. Throughout the planning and execution of the event, Tracey was just awesome-- organized, responsive, and thorough. And the photos turned out great! Tracey is a true professional and I would strongly recommend her.

If Angie's List had a numerical rating system of 1 - 10 with 10 being the best, I would have to rate Tracey as a 50. It is hard for me to describe in words, let alone assign a rating, to what I consider to have been one of the best business transactions of my life. The care with which Tracey and her husband, Bob, set up the photo shoot in our living room for our family portrait, adjusted our clothing to look just so, and made sure the lighting was optimum was amazing. They treated us as if we we were the most important part of their day and they had all the time in the world to make sure everything was perfect. I don't know how she did it, but Tracey managed to capture all of our individual personalities, yet also our character as a family. And it didn't stop there...we asked for a lot of retouching (smoothing of blemishes, softening of sagging skin, etc. and this is where Tracey's talent and skill really shone. She made us all look our best while not making us look like we'd had years of plastic surgery a la Joan Rivers. I had many questions for Tracey during the ordering process and she promptly responded to every one of them even though she was on the road and out of state on other jobs. She was vey patient with my many questions and always explained things cheerfully and clearly. From a cost standpoint her fees are some of the most reasonable I've seen in the business. Yes, I did pay $1K for her photos, but I was so ecstatic over the results that I went whole hog. Best $1K I've ever spent! People should be breaking down her doors for her business. Use her services and talent; you won't regret it!

hSee description in prior box. She's a winner. The ceremony at Arlington is so moving that you will want a photographer; trust me on this. And you also want Tracey Attlee; trust me on that, too. Reasonable pricing, extremely responsive, very talented, totally unobtrusive. She can provide photo prints or put an album together for you or just give you the digital files (with a copyright license so you can have your own prints made, which is what I chose). She also posts the entire set of photos on her website and gives you a password so that all your family and friends, especially those who couldn't attend the funeral, can experience the event.

Choosing your wedding photographer can be a challenge because there is such a wide range of prices and offers. When planning my wedding, I knew I couldn't take any chances. Food and flowers come and go but pictures last a lifetime and I wanted to ensure my pictures were perfect. Working with Tacey Attlee was a pleasure from start to perfect finish. She took the time to understand the type
of wedding I was planning and how I wanted it captured in pictures. She offered great suggestions but most importantly, she listened to my desires. We planned what shots were critical to me and which were "nice to have". At the wedding and reception, the photography was professional and unobtrusive. Best of all, the pictures look amazing.

Tracey was outstanding. She worked around my schedule, came to my hosue and quickly set up and took wonderful photos. The $275 sitting fee was well worth it, I don't believe you'll find better work even it you paid more. Tracey and her husband were delightful to work with, they allowed me to give my input, but also used their years of experience to guide me along the way so in the end we ended up with the best possible portrait. I would definintely use Tracey again and highly recommned her to others who want truly professional and personalized photographs at an extremely fair and competitve price.

We initially met Tracey for coffee to see her work and learn about her approach to the event. Her work was excellent. She's a perfectionist which is awesome if you're looking for someone who is going to care as much about your big day as you are. She was so incredibly well organized. She scouted the location, helped us build our list of photos, and even made a schedule for us for the day of. She and her husband, Todd, who is also a photographer were a great team. They were on time, nice, ever-present but at the same time nearly invisible. They captured every moment of our event in beautiful photographs. Tracey also provides a service where guests/family/friends could purchase gift certificates as wedding presents for us. That was really helpful.
A few weeks after the event, we had the proofs from the wedding. You could tell that Tracey went through each of those photos first before sending them to us. There wasn't a bad one in the bunch and she sent us hundreds! I have to say that this level of service matches the price and we couldn't be happier.

I found Tracey here on Angie's List and from my first email contact with her, through phone calls for scheduling and details of the shoot she was professional, timely and detail oriented. Throughout the shoot she worked to make my son comfortable and catch him at his best. Kudos for her personal connection to her subjects.

I have three grown children and five grandchildren. It is nearly impossible to get them all in one place at the same time. Since we were all coming together for the newest grandchild's baptism, I wanted a photographer at the Church to take family photos while we were all together and all dressed up, as well as to photograph the baptism.. I contacted Tracey, whom I found on Angie's List. She promptly got back to me with a price and we confirmed the date. During the week before the event, Tracey went on her own time to visit the Church and walked around to scout out areas for family photos. I really appreciated that she had taken the time to do that, to be familiar with the surroundings. I sent a list of photo shots that I wanted and Tracey followed those to the letter, to maximize our photo session time. She was there at the Church setting up exactly on time and got terrific shots of the baptism without irritating the priest- a great feat! Afterwards we quickly went through all the photo shots I wanted and additional ones that our guests requested. The baptism was on Sunday and by Tuesday morning all the photos were up on a website I could share with all the relatives. The photos are great! I will be purchasing a number of them and I will also be receiving a DVD with Internet ready photos. I highly recommend Tracey to photograph your event and I will certainly contact her again.

Tracey was very flexible and was able to fit us into her calendar because we had a pretty tough schedule we had to meet, which was very much appreciated. She was punctual and very professional. Tracey took numerous proofs of each staff member and made them available to us quickly via a website. We then each were able to select our favorite picture - at which point she did her magic and made them look even better. Each final photo is great and we couldnt be happier with the results.

Contacted Tracey and Todd for some baby photos for a Christmas Card. Both were kind enough to come over the same day (on a weekend) to take some photographs in order to make an external deadline. They went the extra mile to post-process on a Sunday and the pictures turned-out beautifully. Would gladly use them again.

Tracey and Todd were absolutely fabulous! They came over to our house the day before the photo shoot to meet us and scout locations. Tracey thoroughly discussed with us exactly what we wanted and how to go about achieving it, and even offered to help with picking out our wardrobes. The price of the photo shoot was more than fair for all the work and prep involved. They showed up right on time the day of the shoot. It was very important to our family that we get these pictures done, and Tracey and Todd were incredibly professional and patient with us. The pictures came out absoultely fabulous. I would definitely use them again, and highly recommend them.

I live in San Diego and held my retirement ceremony and reception in Washington DC per the request of my family (mom, sisters, ect) who all live on the east coast. Coordination was very easy. Tracey was responsive via phone and email. Tracey and her assistant photographer both showed up for the walkthrough, reviewed the ceremony script and layout, and were pretty much unseen during the event (just like they are supposed to be). She recommended different poses and shots and the quality and angle of her photographs was spectacular. They arrived slightly early and were well prepared. The production of the photographs and DVD were done quickly, posted to the web and provided earlier than promised. Editing was excellent!

She was very prompt and professional. She kept a list of the poses I requested and ensured every one was taken. She also was very patient in trying to get the best pictures of my busy 4 year-old son and 3 month-old twins. They worked a great deal on getting the lighting right within my house as well as processing the photos to give us the best look. Everything was done in a timely fashion so I got the Christmas cards out within the week as well as additional reprints. Tracey was great to work with. She does beautiful work, she is easy to contact, her planning is great, and her timeliness was perfect. She spent time upfront understanding our goals, and then she executed well against them. She was on time for everything, and she was not obtrusive in any way at the church or the reception as she did her work. Overall, we loved working with her and our daughter was exceptionally pleased with the finished product.
