I have used them for a number of things in the past 2 years. The person that I have dealt with is an arborist and he is extremely knowledgeable. You never see a trained arborist so he knows what he is talking about. He is very personable. They have been very responsive to my calls. I am a master gardener so I am not an uninformed client. I am very demanding. I am demanding in that I know what is appropriate. That is one reason I like them is because I can have intelligent conversations and we get to the matter of what is needed in my yard. They have done pruning trees and shrubs for me. They also have treated some issues with trees successfully. The price was very good. The price was reasonable because I know how long it takes to do these things. It was a reasonable amount for what I got. Part of the pruning I am thrilled with, another part is some bushes I am not familiar with, and they have not came back completely like they are suppose to. But they still have time to do that. They are very responsive. They come when they say. I am going to be calling them today to come out.

I had a problem with the tree. I was seeing things that I knew weren't okay. I called them to see and help me figure it out. WE figured out what the problem was that I had scale in the oak trees. They treated it and came back several times over the past couple years to check if it was under control. It has been under control, and I have seen a noticeable difference particularly this year and helped in the tree. It leafed out this spring. They are just an A company.

It was an A. I think it was around $900-1000. They were perfect. I have a very heavily landscaped yard. They controlled the product that was being removed. In a way that it never fell on an shrubs, and they didn't break anything. They removed it all and took it up and carried it away. They had to work on 3 different trees.

They were fine.

We were very pleased. Very knowledgeable and helped us to make good decisions about where and what to cut. Work was nicely done. Clean up thorough. A totally positive experience.

They have worked for us for 10 years, once or twice a year. Their cost of service is too high. We consider the cost and use them if we think we can afford them.

It didn't work very well. They were not responsive. They kept coming back after I cancelled the service. Bad communication and no follow up. I made phone calls and emails and it just didn't work. The staff in the office failed.

I have used them a number of times. They are nice. They scheduled me in a timely manner for the estimates. They reviewed what I wanted done. They gave me a cost within a day or two and we scheduled the work. When I came home I could clearly see that something was done. They cleaned up after themselves. They did what I asked them to do.

They are always very nice and knowledgeable. They answer questions. Therefore, we appreciate their opinion.

Care of Trees was hired to remove a large cedar tree that had died in our back yard.  In taking down the tree, a large part of the tree hit another large tree taking a chunk out of it.  Of course it took a while for the perfectly good tree to die (about a year) and when I called Care of Trees, the only compensation was that they would take down the tree and charge us $350.  I was so mad at them, I hired someone else at my expense to take down the tree.  I will never use them again and I pass the word to everyone I know who is interested in a tree service not to use them.

James, the arborist, came out and provided a risk assessment of a large tulip popular near the back of our home.  He was exceptionally knowledgeable, thorough, patient and helpful.  He provided a comprehensive risk assessment.  Even though he works for a tree service, we are convinced that he gave us an honest assessment of the minimal risks we faced, rather than, for example, suggesting unnecessary service..  He gave us an honest assessment of various risks and told us about cost effective solutions such as cabling that would diminish even the minimal risk we faced.  The prices he quoted seemed very reasonable.  We would definitely use them again.

It went well, there are no problems and it seems to be working great. They do what they say they are going to do, do it the day they say they will do it, and the price is reasonable.

They did the job on time and for a good price. It was prompt and I was very happy.

I had them remove all the materials (but not grind the stump).

I'd recommend them and use them again in a heartbeat.

Arrived on time. Good group of guys who knew their stuff. Safely removed a tree that was leaning too much towards the house. I have used Care of Trees numerous times and each time as been excellent in service provided.
