We have used Mr. Bill Sullivan several times now for cleanup on our home property.  He would come over to assess and quote the job-site.  Upon agreement he would schedule the job.  Outside of face-to-face interactions, communication was through emails (response times were prompt).
He is courteous, prompt, reliable, & understanding.  If problems came up (e.g., bad weather) he was upfront about it and provided alternatives (usually next day scheduling.) (totally understandable by us!)  He tolerated my many questions about landscaping, and provided various pricing options (e..g, material, urgent vs. can-wait tasks) to meet our budget.  That, I greatly appreciated!

I had called a few different providers. When they came out to do the estimate, they were professional and responsive. They had the best price. They were great. Everything was wonderful. I didn’t need to be at home for it. They were on time.

It was good.  It was just kind of a one man operation.  He was helpful and did a good job.

The work was done very well, however the price turned out to be $250 more than what was quoted.

He did a very good job and came out and gave a detailed estimate with links of shrubs and  flowers he suggested. We thought the price was high for our pockets. However, to be completely fair, out of everyone we met, he definitely has an understanding and a great appreciate and dedication to his job. The work was done over a year ago and to this day, we are happy with everything. we know he is well worth what he charges. We disagreed on one aspect of the estimate and he felt uncomfortable proceeding with us. He mailed us a check shortly thereafter, in the amount we disagreed on. We appreciated that and appreciate his work.

It is rare, indeed, to find a professional in the landscaping business who cares about his work product and his clients as much as Sullivan Landscaping does!  From start to finish, the project was on time, complete and extraordinary in appearance.  The service provider's judgment on types of plants, placement of plants and location of plants was spot on each and every time - resulting in not only an incredibly beautiful front and back yard, but also an oasis of beauty to enjoy in both locations!  
Further, the service provider would come out on a weekend to be sure that the newly laid sod was sufficiently watered to prevent loss of sod or newly planted flowers/bushes in the bedding areas.  
Found this service provider and team to be very professional, extremely knowledgeable about his craft and the plants he chose, prompt, polite, caring about what he and his wonderful team provided to us and never failed to complete a job to our complete satisfaction.
I would, without fail, recommend this company and the whole incredible team to anyone seeking to have a lawn installed or maintained, a bedding area created or anything that falls under the auspices of landscaping!!!  Exceptional company and we appreciate very much everything Sullivan Landscaping (and the whole team) did for us!

Overall it has been great working with them. They did a fabulous job.

Well... DON'T call Custom Landscape Creations!!!  They are dishonest and pathological liars.  I personally dealt with Shawn Ryls (Richard's son???) who needed money up front to start, won't pay his employees, overstates what he will do and when he will do it, immediately cashs your check and then ... after dozens of phone call follow-ups, pleads for more money because he's broke.  What an a******.  I certainly hope they go to jail because they are thieves of the first order.

Imagine the worst, which I experienced, then dream of the OPPOSITE.  DO start with Angie's List and find a smart, friendly, professional horticulturist with a warm, friendly, talented crew of professionals who returns your calls, schedules appointments, KEEPS them [almost unheard of today!], shows up on time, works in nearly 100 degree heat, caringly moving existing plants and adding additional plants, hauling dirt and stones, cleaning up after themselves.  Unbelievable!!

Punctual.  Professional.  Perfection!!!  There aren't enough superlatives to describe Sullivan's!!!

No complants.

They came in and did magic. It was extremely hot and they worked long and hard. They have a crew of a couple employees that worked very well together. He even went above and beyond what we asked, and we couldn't be happier with them.

A year previous he rennovated it, landscaped. This was maintenance. They did a quick and thorough job. He stuck to the estimate. Cost is most recent cleanup. Initial job included flagstone installation, flower box, plants, all types of things. This was about $2,000.
