Ric did an excellent job. He definitely knows the in's and out's of Radon remediation and is a careful craftsman who pays attention to the details. I did recommend him to a friend and she was also very happy with his work. My Radon level in the living space had a 3 month average of 3 PiC/L with peaks as high as 5, and after remediation it fell to a seven day average of .27 which is roughly the outside Radon level.

Fantastic! Best quality work! Installer was extremely knowledgeable about Radon and how best to install the system. Our system looks fantastic on the outside, installer used PVC pipe all the way to roof line for best airflow (instead of gutter downspout material).

RIC LLC was very efficient, effective, clean and wise throughout the installation and subsequent follow-up. We saw ground-level indoor air radon level drop below 2.5% vs. pre-mitigation; it's now well below USEPA (4.0 pCi/L) and WHO (1.0 pCi/L) caps. I would highly recommend his services, but sign-up as early as possible as his schedule fills quickly!

Ric showed up on time and met with us and the home buyer. After discussing two options for the location of the pipes and fan, the buyer requested that everything be located inside the house. This meant going through the garage and venting via the attic. This would result in a higher cost of $725 but the buyer agreed to pay the difference. It also meant the job would take most of the day because storage had to be moved in both the basement and the attic. Ric went to work right away. Even though it was a miserable, rainy day everything proceeded well and the job was done by mid-afternoon. Unfortunately, upon inspection of the draw of air at the end of the line, Ric was not confident that the solution would completely mitigate the radon and he recommended another pipe in the basement and a more powerful fan. It added $500 to the cost but he was confident that it would solve the problem. Therefore, we agreed that he would return the next week and make the enhancements to the solution. Ric showed up the next Monday and made the improvements to the installation in the morning. We ordered another inspection a few days after the work was completed and the results were well below the EPA required thresholds. Ric did a great job and was a pleasure to work with. Rick Rodrigues, the owner, answered the phone. I explained that I heard a chirping sound coming from the radon system in our garage. He informed me that to send someone out to check it would be a cost, so he had me go out and look at the gauge and give him the readings. He also told me that radon systems don't chirp. He then asked me if the pipe runs into the sump pump in our basement. I did not know so he held on while I went downstairs to look. When I told him there was a pipe, he then asked about the pump running and asked about a back-up battery that we have. After several minutes explaining the system and briefly how it operates, he ended by suggesting that I really needed to have someone come out and test the back-up battery. This has saved me the cost of having someone come out unnecessarily. He was so helpful and wanted to save me money. I would absolutely use them.

After a disappointing start and lack of attention from the other highly rated radon contractor, I decided to call Radon Installation Contractors. The owner, Ricardo Rodriguez, was very responsive and willing to explain everything that he would do over the phone. He gave me an accurate estimate over the phone, showed up promptly, and worked efficiently and cleanly, all the while keeping us updated on what he was doing. He is skilled, professional, and highly motivated to satisfy his customer.

This typical installation was completed in about 4 hours and was very neatly done. The provider arrived on time and was very professional.

Do to the age of my home he had difficulty getting the pipes deep enough. He did a lot of work, staying late. He did good work and cleaned up after himself. I was very pleased and will be re-testing soon. He was very polite and pleasurable to be around and I felt very comfortable having him around.

Ric arrived on time, put down cloths to protect the floor, and promptly went to work. In addition to the radon mitigation system, he sealed the gaps between the basement floor and walls. He recognized and alerted us to problems with our 26 year old builder-installed sump and was able to correct the sump issues the same day for an additional charge. Ric used high quality materials and did meticulous work. He answered all our questions and explained how to read the gauge to ensure the radon system is working properly. Ricardo showed up on time and it was clear that he was going to take the time to install the system the right way. He put down a drop cloth over the carpet, which I appreciate not only because it protects the carpet but because it shows that he?s paying attention to the details of a job. He walked me through what he was going to do, and why, and then got to work. He was careful to perform the install correctly, and afterwards he caulked the holes he had made and cleaned up nicely. I learned a lot not only about radon but about house construction in general from him. His pricing is competitive with other quotes I received, but what sets him apart is that you?re going to get an experienced technician who pays attention to the details and performs the job correctly.

Rick was very professional. He took careful measurements to insure system piping alignments. He explained to fan options, recommending that we go with a low energy system, retest after a week to insure that abatement is achieving desired results, with the option of a larger capacity fan only if needed. We were very satisfied with the service, technical explanations, quality, and price. Top notch and highly recommended.

The fan motor system was replaced and everything seems to be normal up and running!

It went GREAT! It literally could not have been better, unless it was a little cooler outside for him. He put me on his schedule and came the day he said he would. And get this...HE WAS ON TIME. I highly recommend Ric for his ability to think outside the box to solve a complex problem that I had. We were told it was almost impossible to fix but Radon Installers saved the day. After looking around for 40 minutes Ric figured out how to install the migration system. Not only were the radon testers who came by afterwards to retest my radon levels impressed with his work but my home owners association took his business and want to use him for any other radon problem that may arise in the future. That is QUALITY work.
