Currently we do not offer any financing options. We service Virginia and Maryland. We are licensed, insured and certified. Our Company's IPM strategies include: monitoring using mechanical controls, providing positive pest identification, and minimizing the use of pesticide by identifying the source of infestation. Our services are tailored to meet each client's need and become fully familiar with their environment.

Out of all of them, Sundar?s company was simply the best. He runs a smaller company, which means he takes his time to really go over your home and explain everything. A lot of the big companies send what are essentially salesmen to your home to give it a cursory look over and sell you on the most expensive stuff they can get you to bite on. I wouldn?t go so far as to call them untrustworthy, but you don?t know if what they?re pushing you toward is really what you need.
For example, two sides of our house?s external walls are surrounded by a concrete patio. That means treating it for termites requires more work (ie. costs more). Several of the companies either quoted much higher prices for drilling into concrete for treatment or when we balked at the price, simply said we don?t need to treat those sides just to try to get our business. Sundar walked us through the decision process for that quite thoroughly and because we saw previous termite tracks on those sides, we decided we needed to treat it. He also works with you on price and situation. It?s not a one-size-fits-all or routine prescription with yard per price. With all the service he provided, it still wasn?t more expensive than any of the big companies that came out.
The treatment we had done was getting a chemical barrier injected into the dirt around the house, as well as drilled and injected into parts of our foundation.
Because he runs his own company, the service on the day of the treatment was phenomenal. Sundar arrived when he said he would. Was very thorough in his work. Called to give updates and make sure certain things were okay, like using our bathroom halfway through the day or connecting his hose to our water line (to spray the treatment) was okay.
I felt pretty good at the end of it all, which was surprising. With an issue like termites, it?s not a problem until it?s a problem. And ?termite prevention? can seem like such an ambiguous thing, like throwing your money into a future thing that you don?t know whether or not it will payoff. But given the work, thorough explanation and options given by Sundar and the professional nature with which he approached the work, I feel pretty good about the work we paid to have done. No hesitations in recommending him highly.

I am in Ellicott City, MD so I absolutely wanted someone who was
reliable and punctual. I did some searching and found Pest Chase on Yelp
as well as Angie's list. Being a Angie's list subscriber for more than
12 years starting in California and now continuing in Ellicott City I
could trust the reviews and ratings. I called Pest Chase and received a
very prompt response in less than 15 minutes. We agreed on a date and
time when I would meet Sundar at the condo. Even though he gave me a 2
hour window, he arrived within the 1st 40 minutes. What I appreciated
most was the regular communications and text messages to give me status.
He did the inspection and then the treatment and the work was done very
well and professionally. The price was very reasonable for what was
needed BUT the overall service and attention to detail was exceptional. I
would highly recommend Sundar and his company

I bought a home built in 1978 that had been ignored by the previous owner, but not by termites. This was discovered in the large storage area upon removal of a suspended ceiling and fiberglass insulation. After consultations with 3 structural engineers, it was apparent that one of my steps was to seek termite control after fixing the structural integrity of my new home. From Angie?s list I read about a number of pest control specialists in the area and contacted Pest Chase. A number of contractors were lined up to provide their assessments and estimates. After meeting with Sundar, all others were cancelled.

This was all before he started actually working my home to rid it of termites. When he returned, weather permitting, Sundar :

Spent hours prepping the ground around my home. He would stop and explain what and why he was doing something if I asked and would question me about certain plants and if they needed to be moved.

Once this prep work was completed, he alerted me that he was about to start pumping solution and the precautions that were involved.

He discovered that there were different soils around my foundation, so plans were made to come back with a solution formulated for those soil conditions.

He worked again for hours getting the solution just right around the foundation and getting the soil back to its original position.

He made me feel like I was his only customer

He then came into the home and applied ?green? products (after consulting with me and my pet concerns) for some other pest issues.

Sundar then followed up with phone calls to see if everything was to my satisfaction.

He sent termite literature, with my consent, via e-mail about possible swarming even after treatment so as to avail any concerns should this happen in my home and to call him immediately should I see this normal activity.

Studied dead insects and determined that they were not termites, but ants.
Treated outside perimeter and inside with "Green" pesticides, solving the problem.
Eliminated ant inside and outside.
Performing quarterly treatments over the year, and ants have not been seen since initial application.
Sundar is very knowledgeable, patient and informative.

I found Pest Chase on Angie's List, and due to their reviews decided to email them. Sundar was very responsive; he replied to me email within a few minutes, and we set up time for him to take a look later that evening. He gave me an estimate and I told him I would call him back. After calling other companies, Pest Chase provided the best value, as most of the other companies would not even do the job.
I called Sundar back a week later to schedule his services. He was very prompt and was able to fit me in his schedule later the same afternoon. He set up a 26 foot ladder against the tree and was able to exterminate the hornets? nest. He also followed up with 2 days later to ensure that his work was satisfactory.
It's been about a week and the hornets have not returned. My kids are happy they can play in the yard again. I highly recommend Pest Chase for your extermination needs.

The company does excellent work. They are prompt in their response. My parents used them as well and were pleased with the results. They treated our home for pests, both rodents and insects using green products. They also are very through with their inspection and very prompt in their treatment. We have definitely noticed a difference with Pest Chase. We would recommend the company highly.

5/15/2014: OWNER CALLED AND BASHED ME AND VERBALLY ATTACKED ME ON THE PHONE REGARDING MY RATINGS ON HIS PRICE. THEREFORE, I UPDATED MY REVIEW TO INCLUDE THE TRUE GRADE HE DESERVES.

He wanted this estimate/quote without the benefit of viewing the interior of the home; he was only willing to give access to the garage. I explained to Mr. [removed member name] that It's extremely challenging to give an estimate sight unseen without a complete and thorough inspection. However, I based my approximate price on a residential pest control service for a full year.(Four services) In addition, I stated that I would come in between scheduled service dates if needed WITHOUT charge. Also. This estimate was provided free of charge. Everyone is entitled to their own opinion. However, the opinion should reflect the truth of what was said or done. I did call Mr. [removed member name] to better understand the poor rating and his concern about the price.
