Ryan was referred to us by a good friend and he gave us a quote for new windows that could not be beat. We had tons and tons and rounds and rounds of questions, but he got us all of our answers and we had him do the work.  The windows came in on time, and the work was done beautifully.

The initial consultation was great. The owner Ryan came to our house and went over all the details and his price was very competitive for really nice windows. The install went fairly smooth and on-time. They estimated 2 days to replace all the windows and it took 2.5 days. The last half day was mostly touch-up type stuff. Everything seemed great.
About a year and half later we had a covered porch put on the back of our house (by a different company) and they pointed out problems with our window installations. They claimed that Orion used indoor caulk around the outside of our windows which is why the caulk was coming off which could cause leaks. Then last year we noticed that a couple of our windows looked dirty, so we tried to clean them. Apparently the seal on these windows was not good (a manufacturing defect) and the sun on the windows interacted with the gases in between the window panes to create a nasty algae like appearance between the panes. They look awful and there is nothing we can do about it except replace the windows. We contacted Orion about the situation and they confirmed that it was a manufacturing defect because they were having complaints from other customers about the same issue. Orion told us that the manufacturer has gone out of business and that there is nothing we (or they) can do. Orion was not willing to work with us to resolve the issue - they basically told us we were out of luck, but we can get new windows installed at our expense. We investigated and the company still exists, but they just don't manufacture windows any more. Had the company still manufactured the windows, this would be a non-issue since the windows are still under warranty, but since they no longer manufacture windows, we are not sure what we can do.
We are currently investigating our legal options. Basically we either just want our money back, or for the windows to be replaced free of charge.

They are very responsive.  They give military discount and hire professional people that speak English.  They do good quality work and they definitely cleanup when they are done.  They are so professional, they would not even take an offer of lunch, they said that was against company policy and they had to buy their own lunch.

We had an exceptionally fine experience with the folks from Orion.  There were some particular needs that they addressed with intelligence.  The service people were prompt, courteous, and thorough, and the supervisor was always son top of progress and communicated with us extremely well.

As part of a kitchen renovation, we wanted to enlarge a window. We talked with several firms. Some wouldn't consider the work because it required pulling a permit for the longer header (support structure over the window). Two bids were quite high. Ryan Rodgers came out, designed the window (double casement with central picture) on his laptop, and printed out the bid. The crew that did the framing were professional, quick, and tidy. They had to cut/rework some of the vinyl siding around the window. The window came in a week earlier than originally scheduled, but Ryan was upset that it arrived a day later than he had said it would. Nevertheless, it was installed almost a week ahead of time and it looks great.
