The tech called when he said he would and while we were on the phone, fixing the problems remotely, he told me what he was doing and why. The whole thing took less than an hour. I am impressed with this company ! I'd used them once before, and their service at that time was equally excellent.

I took my laptop in and they had the work completed in one business day. They even brought my computer down to my car for me, in consideration of my disability. They couldn't have been nicer. Super professional and now my computer in working like new. I have already contracted with them to do some security work at my home.

In the refurbished computer, they used some of the parts that they took off my old computer. I had several problems with the computer once I got it back. The computer died on me about 1 month after I received it. I asked for a refund and offered to give them their parts back but they refused to give me a refund.

When your computer is down, research is limited. So I used my work Blackberry to look up laptop repair in NOVA instead of conducting thorough research including Angie's List. I read wonderful, glowing reports about these guys and, most important, their rapid turnaround. I chose a local repair service over the option of sending my laptop to the manufacturer for service because surely it would be much faster. At first, the tech was minimally polite, if aloof. But the repair took 3 weeks with someone telling me each day for the first 2 weeks: "The part will be delivered either this afternoon or tomorrow." I ended up calling every day for a status, and my interaction with the manager grew increasingly tense. He was very defensive to the point of being unable to have a conversation. He refused to respond to my calls if the status had not changed from the day before. I had a hard time believing that a new keyboard could take 3 weeks to order and install and felt this guy was stonewalling because he wouldn't talk to me civilly. All he needed to do was be upfront about the delay and explain what was going on but he would not answer my questions or offer reassurance that the keyboard would be delivered and installed soon - the lack of information was unnerving. After 2 weeks, they delivered a loaner to my office at no charge, which relieved some of my day-to-day pain. They did ultimately fix my laptop, and I thought the price was fair. However, their customer service skills were abysmal and I will not use them again. When I finally picked up my repaired laptop, the manager refused to make eye contact or deal with me, calling over another tech to finish up the transaction. His hostility was palpable.

I found this company from the Yellow Pages since my computer failed and did not have access to Angie"s List. My original contact was positive; stated they would send someone that day and the cost would be $50.00 for the tech visit. The tech said he had to take computer to office since it appeared to be a drive failure. Two days later confirmation of problem and was told total cost would be $400.00 ( new drive, restoring data, labor). Four days later after my calling to find out the status of repair, a tech called and said they were still working on restoring data and there would be an extra charge of $150.00. This is where the positive turned negative. No time had it ever been mentioned that the cost could increase. After much back and forth, I said, "I guess I pay or you keep my computer?" The manager was advised of my unhappy state, and it was decided they would honor the original price. Two days later I finally got my computer back. The tech ,Larry, did a good job, and everything so far seems to be working. The tech, Ryan, who came to my home with the computer was very professional, explained everything, answered all my questions. I checked the box "yes" to the question would I ever use them again. My true feeling is "maybe." I think the price is on the high end.
