Von, with Century 21 New Millennium was amazing from start to finish. I am an experienced home buyer, this being my third and have worked with other agents in the past. Von ranks up there as the best and in this transaction, she earned not only her commission but that of the sellers agent as well, even though she only received her buyer s agent commission and not the sellers. Von came recommended by USAA and it was a recommendation well deserved. I outlined my interests and parameters for a new home and combined her searches with my own. I narrowed down my interests via internet views and went out on my own to look at properties that made the initial list. This helped me assess neighborhoods and actual eyes on viewings that provided considerable insight versus what you see on the net. We ultimately narrowed down the actual walk through viewings to about half a dozen homes and Von was right on time with each viewing. She also did a great deal of homework on every property, knowing the history and circumstances surrounding each home. Short sales are a very common issue in the current market, but very few agents understand the process and the pitfalls. Von knows these conditions inside and out and she expertly steered us through the minefields of home buying and away from some homes due to the complications in the selling process related to un-reported and pending foreclosures, loan defaults, short sales process point and the owners/agent competencies all issues that can kill a sale and make the buying process an absolute nightmare. The buyers agent in this case was one of those problems, very young, very incompetent and very out of his league having to be walked by the hand through every process, contract violation he and the seller committed as well as the closing process, Von very clearly earned his commission as well as her own. I highly recommend Von to any buyer/seller in the Arlington/Alexandria/Fairfax, Virginia area. You will be well represented and well served by this broker in one of the most daunting purchases you will make. Von is patient, fun and will make sure you are well protected from the potential pitfalls that can happen in this volatile market.
