Mosaic Home Interiors

Awful. I had worked with the designer when she was employed elsewhere, so followed her to Mosaic. She showed me only one wall/floor tile (same tile: matte finish for floor, shiny for tub surround) and only one accent tile strip. Trusting her word that the tiles would work with the vanity, we placed the order. We also followed her suggestion for wall paint. When the contractor opened the wall/floor tiles, he asked why they were brown instead of grey tone. We called Mosaic, and the designer swore they were grey (despite having a brown edge) and would look fine once installed. The matte floor tiles are ambiguous, if there is any grey in the tub tiles it is well camouflaged. The glass accent tiles, which looked nice with the vanity top in the Mosaic showroom, changed color completely once backed with and surrounded by the grout. I won't even get started on the green wall color the designer suggested. Once the tiles were installed and the vanity was in place, people who did not realize the project was complete asked which part of the bathroom I was remodeling. Was I getting a new vanity to go with the tiles around the tub? or was I going to replace those tiles and get some that matched the vanity top? My request for suggestions from the designer to salvage the room elicited the following email from her: "I am sorry that you are unhappy with the tile you selected. I think it looks lovely, but ultimately it is your space. If you do not like the selection you made you will have to speak to your installer about replacing it. I wish you the best of luck selecting something that is more in keeping with your vision." I've attached a picture of the bathroom. Have repainted the walls and installed a shower curtain that I keep close to avoid looking at the bathtub tiles.
