Monet Gogh Sip

Parents beware of this shoddy fly by night business. I am a Old Town local who got conned by Monet Gogh Sip through a Living Social deal. For $175, the Living Social deal promised a child's birthday party for 8 kids with tiaras, goody bags, a bday sash and a group photograph. When I called to book the party, the owner, Tabitha, initially agreed on a date, the time and all the b'day party perks posted on the advertisement. When I called 2 days before the party- because there was the owner didn't bother to follow up or send a confirmation e-mail, I answered by the curt and rude Tabitha who attempted the "bait and switch" tactic seen with shoddy business owners. She shortened the length of the agreed time and said nothing would be included aside from the canvas. If I wanted the other things agreed upon, I'd have to cough up $200 additional dollars. I was disgusted-- and called Living Social. They refunded my money. Tabitha canceled the party and refused to follow what was advertised. Needless to say, I have warned other parents all over Old Town to never book a child's party through Monet Gogh Sip because obviously, there is no customer service and it's a bait and switch operation. There were no apologies- nothing. Terrible experience. Will continue to warn people about this shady business as Old Town parents shouldn't bother booking anything-- and if they do- get everything in writing so you can use a lawyer if there's a breach of contract. Two thumbs DOWN! Tabitha mentioned she's only been in business one year-- and it shows.
