Excellent Work and Professional Owner and Crew! The existing roof soffits and facia on my parents old house were rotted and falling apart. I contacted several different companies and when I contacted the Mark Meredith LLC company, the owner himself, Mark Meredith, agreed to meeting with me personally in the evening to review the proposed work that needed to be done to repair the roof soffits and facia. Mark took the time to walk around the entire house, and he pointed out the work that he recommended needed to be done immediately and the work that could be deferred for some time. Talking with Mark, I found him to be very knowledgeable and friendly. Mark ultimately recommended that roof soffits and facia on the entire front of the house and the front of the garage be replaced with brand new PVC to replace the existing Particle Board roof soffits and facia. Whereas the other companies were only recommending repairing the damaged areas. I agree with Mark that all of the roof soffits and facia most likely should be replaced, and we agreed on a mutually acceptable price. My wife oversaw the work done by the Mark Meredith crew, and she was very impressed with the professionalism of the crew and was pleased with their politeness. Additionally, my wife reported back to me that Mark was correct in his assumption that all of the existing roof soffits and facia was rotten and needed to be replaced, as she watched the old existing roof soffits and facia "come off in rotten chunks". When all of the work was completed, once again Mark Meredith himself, met with me and my wife to review the completed work and explain the work that had been done. As I stared previously, my wife and I are very impressed with the professionalism of the Mark Meredith LLC company and we are very pleased with the work that the company did!

Mark replied to my inquiry right away, scoped thing out, and gave me an estimate. He and his crew came over at the agreed upon time and got the job completed!

Mike (employee) was stellar. We had a leak in the roof following a storm and though he was busy, he made time to identify the issue, performed an emergency repair (himself) and expeditiously arranged a repair that should buy us years on our roof. Can’t say enough good things and couldn’t give a stronger recommendation.

Excellent! Mark was able to do what many did not - systematically diagnose the cause of long-term water damage, and then repair the subsequent damage. I was happy to find an honest and thorough contractor to do the job.

I was extremely impressed with the outstanding and professional work done by Mark Meredith and his crew. I had wood replacement and painting on 3 French Door type windows. Mr. Meredith was extremely responsive when requesting the initial estimate, in providing the contract proposal, and in scheduling the work within the requested timeframe. The windows look new, just as they did when the house was built. His crew were obviously expert carpenters/painters who take pride in their work. I would highly recommend this company.

Everything was great, they came when they said they would be here, very efficient and professional.

Mike called immediately and scheduled to stop by the next morning. He and a helper showed up on time, found the leak and repaired it within 15 minutes. It was obvious that they were a match for roof repairs and were not trying to sell me a new roof. I would contact them in the future if I needed roof repairs

What a great decision. The crew was fantastic to work with, detail-oriented, eager to please and took great pride in their work. Having hired a range of contractors over the years, I put them in three broad categories: 1) Unreliable - Don't perform on time and on budget, don't take pride in their work. 2) Reliable - Deliver on time and on budget, but work only to the letter of the agreement. 3) Exceptional - Exceed expectations, over-communicate, treat your home as if it were their own, add value through creativity, and do the little extra things that weren't in the agreement but show that they take pride in everything they do. Mark Meredith's team falls into the Exceptional category, and without overcharging like some other well-known firms. Based on this experience, I would recommend without reservations and would not hesitate to hire them again for a larger project.

He replaced a few boards, I did not want the whole deck replaced. Actually that is what I liked about him. He said I did not need the whole deck replaced. He was very honest, not pushy in trying to get me to replace the whole deck. He was a little higher in price, but you got great customer service. You could call him late at night and he would answer or call you right back. If it was going to rain he would call and say fyi we won't be there tomorrow but we will be there tomorrow at 8 a.m. and he was there at 8 a.m.  He had very could communication. He does quality work, great customer service.

I don’t usually write reviews however after my recent experience, I thought it was appropriate. I could start with all the buzz words however I was far more impressed therefore using empty exaggerated phrases does not do justice. My experience with Mark Meredith, LLC was genuinely one I will never forget. From the time of initial contact through the completion of the work. I wanted the front of my townhouse redone, to include: replacing wood, framing, both the storm and entry doors, shutters and then painting in two different colors. I actually could have done the work myself with some help from friends however did not have the time. Mark came to give a quote. When I asked questions based on his professional experience, I was impressed with not only his knowledge, but also the fact that he did not try to hard sell anything additional. Instead, he explained things so I could envision the end result from different perspectives. We negotiated a price and scheduled a start date in the following month. During the period between the time the contract was signed and the day the work was to start, Mark would call to let me know we were still on schedule. He and his team showed up on the exact date. They were professional, at the same time very personable. All were knowledgeable and took the time to explain what they were doing whenever I asked. The team finished the work on the day Mark had projected. I was very impressed with the quality of workmanship. In addition, Mark and his team actually did extra work that was not part of the contract at no additional cost. For example, extending the front doorway so the storm door I wanted could be installed. In closing, I’d like to recommend Mark Meredith, LLC for any full-service general contracting work you may want. If nothing else, at least lend he and his team the opportunity to give you a quote. Highly recommend this company. I needed to replace some rotted exterior wood trim. Mark was the only one that actually came out and did a thorough inspection and actually identified some additional problem areas that others didn't even notice. This company was very responsive from the start of getting an estimate and all the details were clearly explained, the crew showed up early and all was cleaned up after the job was completed. The work completed looks fantastic. Was very impressed with the overall experience and professionalism of this company which seems to be very rare these days.

I had to go outside in the morning once I saw that many pieces of old roofing material were being thrown onto our landscaping from the roof because the crew failed to put a tarp up to protect our landscaping. The supervisor promised to put up a tarp to protect our landscaping, but they never did. After the crew left, I found numerous pieces of debris and trash in our front landscaping areas and then while doing yard work a few days later, discovered that they had damaged our deck which had just been re-stained last summer (there were multiple chunks missing from the corner of our deck railing closest to our neighbors' property) and their carelessness with throwing down old roofing materials resulted in the complete destruction of a yard decoration I got from my best friend's wedding. I emailed the company to inform them of this damage over a week ago and have yet to receive a response. So if you see your neighbors hire this unprofessional company, be sure to monitor so that you don't have damage to your property.

His work was excellent.  Mark Meredith is an excellent contractor and I would recommend him to anybody.  He is on time and very competent. He has good people working for him.  His people are very knowledgeable and I have no complaints.  His prices are reasonable.

I had contacted Mark for a roof proposal, and he responded right away. I had gotten at least 7 different roof proposals over a 3-4 month timeframe. Many companies I contacted wanted to take up 2 hours of time to go over everything (really, they just wanted to justify why they are charging a premium, and with 3 small kids, I just don't have time for that). Mark's approach was very different. He didn't ask for 2 hours of time to go through the big sales pitch. He responded with what I asked for, didn't take up a lot of time, and his pricing was very competitive (significantly less than many of the proposals I received). Once I signed the contract, he was able to schedule a crew for the next day. They arrived first thing in the morning, and the job was done by 5PM. They did an outstanding job, and you would never know they were there with the exception that the house looked 100 times better with the new roof. They replaced several 4x8 sheets that had rotted, but didn't charge (some roofing companies will nickle and dime on such things), so again, that was appreciated. I would certainly use Mark again, and have referred him to several neighbors (one of my neighbors also got a new roof from Mark's company, and he's very satisfied as well).

The quality of his work is absolutely spectacular. The cost is always normal. He is really good. They provide everything from lighting to painting. He is a highly recommended person. They clean up. They never leave a mess and leave it as clean as possible. I would use him in the future.

Despite these guys being know experts for high-end work like restoring historic buildings, their prices have always been reasonable, in fact usually coming within 5% of the lowest bid. Mark has always responded within a couple days and work usually started within a week or two, according to our schedule. There have never been cost over-runs and work has always been completed on-time. We really appreciate the way they work, cleaning up every day, and the end result is just such high quality, we really have to force ourselves anymore to bother with getting competing bids.

Although we did not use him, because I resolved issues with my scheduled contractor, I would consider him as a candidate for future work.

He is very well-priced and delivers on his commitments 100%. He is very creative with his solutions for difficult problems. He is able to balance cost/savings and aesthetics. He was pleasure to have around the home and his crew is super professional. His crew cleaned up every day and they came early and stayed late to get the job done quickly. My 18 month old daughter was even calling the crew members by their names because she liked them so much. I have used several other contractors from large chains and I would call Mark first for any job I have in the future. I would highly recommend his services.
