Poor job, no technical skills at all. He couldn’t even find problem even basic technician repair. And not even guarantee 3months their service. Just visit the house and charged $90 with no repair. Problem keep happening and after 2days, I found problem myself and asked him simply replace parts but he refused to comeback repair. I high recommend NOT use their service and don’t waste your money.

Tim is very knowledgeable and honest about what can and can’t be fixed. Unfortunately he was not able to fix the problem because the broken valve is no longer available. However he alerted me to a plumbing issue that needed to be fixed. Wouldn’t hesitate to use again.

I have nothing but great things to say about them. Colleen, who scheduled the appointment was super nice and got me pretty quick appoinment. She asked me appliance information, so technician would be prepared. Technician was great, prepared, and knowledgeable. I have old washer and he was able to repair it, and provide replacement advice based upon age of machine.

The service was excellent. The owner was excellent. He was prompt and on time. What stood out the most was that he was knowledgeable.

Coleen was very nice in scheduling a time to repair my clothes washer. Tim came to my house right on time and knew right away what the problem was. He even had the replacement part right in his toolbox! The washer was running properly again in less than 15 minutes. Excellent service!

Really nice people providing excellent service. The line continued to leak even though the water was turned off. The Luxmans worked me into their busy schedule and promptly repaired the problem. I've used them for a number of appliance repairs with great results. Thanks!

Tim came out and diagnosed problem immediately in this rental unit apt. Very knowledgeable and freely offers up possible scenarios and explanations on what he is doing. Very honest and forthright about prices and options. Easy to talk to and understand, even when its technical. Quickly replaced the ignitor and tested it. Left workplace clean and was very efficient. We got to talking afterwards and he even verbally diagnosed what was wrong with my gas dryer in my home and gave me some venting material to fix it - all for no charge. He's a one-man operation, with his wife making the appointments. Just seems like a good honest guy - and I researched and cross-researched Angie's List and Consumer Checkbook before I chose him. Warning - because he is so good, he is very busy - he is about 10 days backed up but his wife will schedule you as soon as they can and try to let you know if something comes available earlier. You can't go wrong with this guy: A +

Luxman Appliance was very punctual and quick. They showed up and got the job done and left without any problems. They were professional and corteous while in my home. The overall experience with this company was great.

It went well overall. I called and left a message to ask about service. My call was returned promptly. We were able to work out a time. Mr. Brown called when he said he would and met me at my house on time. The work was done quickly. I am pleased with the whole process and would recommend Luxman Appliances to others.

My dishwasher broke and flooded my house. Tim was able to work me into his schedule at the end of the same day I called. He replaced the stuck valve and took the dishwasher through an entire cycle with me so I would feel comfortable using the dishwasher again and not have to worry about another flood!

Service was excellent, from the initial call to the repair the next day. We were given very clear information about cost and schedule; Tim arrived with the needed parts; and we were back in order in a very short time.

Not only did he replace the tubing - which was totally homemade, from the prior owner of the house, including a stretch of PVC pipe with a bend - but he also partially disassembled the dryer to make sure it hadn't been damaged by heat buildup (it had not). He thoroughly explained what he was doing, and the charge for the visit, including the new metal tubing, was much less than I thought it would be. The only negative - not really under the company's control - is that they apparently have so much business that they can't do next-day visits (in our case, it was about a week). But it was definitely worth the wait to get this kind of high-quality service at such a reasonable price.

15 year old Maytag washer would not agitate and dryer squealed at times. Tim, from Luxman, called ahead of time and was on time for service. (Awesome!) He was highly professional, communicated clearly and even installed new belts on my washer to test it out; however the problem was terminal as the transmission had failed. He gave me advice on new appliances. He then took the new belts off and checked the dryer. The dryer was fine and Tim gave me advice on what to listen for when a problem will occur. He outlined what the costs would be and gave me options. I am extremely pleased with using Luxman Appliance and with Tim the repairman.

I searched www.checkbook.org and www.AngiesList.com for recommended appliance repair firms in our area. Luxman Appliance Repair Co, Inc. had numerous recommendations for quality. The only downside was having to wait 7-days before their next available service appointment. When I scheduled the appointment, I provided the manufacturers model number so the tech could bring repair parts with him. Owner and service technician Tim Brown explained Luxman is a small company with just he and his wife. He repairs all major appliances except microwaves.

My general rule is, that a repairman willing to tell you what work he CAN'T do for you and doesn't charge you for it, is a repairman I'm willing to recommend. This guy was very helpful and obviously knew his stuff and, not only that, obviously ENJOYS his work. Thumbs up.

A great experience! Pleasant phone arrangements, gave me call charge in advance, knowledgeable, pleasant techninican, went the extra mile and noticed my drain hose was about to come off and fastened it securely and made sure I knew how to do it myself. Probably saved me from a flood. :)

Repair completed in an hour. Dryer vent replaced. Parts replaced, thorough check of dryer revealed problem with thermostat. Tim was up front about what the likely problem was, how much it would likely cost. Great experience!

Responded with the fastest availability of four companies called (two days), then called the next day to indicate they had an appointment come open. We provided model number and they came with parts in hand (last company took three weeks to order). Very positive experience.
