Excellent work. Don always looks at the car the same day and gives a real estimate without pushing for needless work to be done. I have no fear that if a problem were to resurface he would address it again without further diagnostic charges.

I attempted to change the battery on my Ford Fusion. When taking off the final bolt on the positive terminal, I dropped the bolt and the nut driver into the engine well. It was out of reach but I was able to make the connection by hand to get the car to Huntington Car Care.  The owner gave me a good natured laugh and proceeded to fish the tool out and tighten the bolts on the battery. Shop is really convenient to the metro and the customer service was outstanding. Looking at using them in the future.

They're very honest and very affordable. They're fair and very prompt. It's not hard to schedule an appointment, and they tell you exactly what you need done right then (and don't tell you a bunch of other things that don't need to be done). I like that it's a small business and they remember you. Their customer service and professionalism are excellent!

I recently moved into the area and was happy to discover a car shop that exceeds my expectations on every visit. I've been there three times already, and every time, they ensure they take the best possible care of my car in the shortest amount possible. They are honest, customer-focused, and very professional, like other reviewers have noted. I truly appreciate the personalized care they take, not only fixing the issues you came in with, but also helping advise on anything else the car may need. They've vacuumed my car for free after my first visit in addition to doing an excellent job with the repairs.

It went very well. They met the time they told me about and they constantly kept me up to date on how things were going. The main factor why I chose them was that the location was actually near metro so they both just drove it to work.

They have good service at reasonable prices.

My 1992 Pathfinder, with over 201K miles, overheated on one of the hottest days in the year on I-495 South. I have recently moved to Alexandria, VA and had no idea what car repair establishments could be trusted in the area. I went online with Angie's List and pulled up several repair shops and found Huntington Auto Care was only .6 miles from my house. I literally dropped the car off and walked home. Radiator and blown hose issues were diagnosed within an hour on a Saturday and I have the vehicle back before they closed at 3:00PM, for the exact amount of the estimate. Don and his team are the best!
Found out later the next week that my air condition was not working in the vehicle. Took it to Don and they diagnosed that the overheating situation contributed to me losing my coolant in the air conditioner. No charge for the diagnosis.

Overall, this shop does a good job as this is the second time I have gone them for work. The work was completed at the estimated price and a year later I have had no problems with the steering pump or any leaks. The estimated price was under the dealer's estimate as well as under other shop estimates that I obtained. I was a bit surprised at the cost of a rebuilt pump (about $200) as it would cost less than half that much in a retail auto parts store. However, I must say that this is a good, competent place to get your car worked on.
