Huntington Auto Body and Paint

This is not a good place to go at all! I had a problem with the sunroof of my car and took it to them because they had fixed my car when I was T-Boned once. They got my car on a Thursday to do a diagnostic, I was told there was no storage fee and that it would cost $100. That day I was told there was a part missing they needed to fix and it would be $866.74 and that they would call me to get my car. After a week of not hearing anything that next Thursday they called me and told me they had ordered a wrong part and that they needed to replace the whole top of my car and it would cost me 2,671.60. I was told that the part wasn't currently being manufactured so I would have to wait until end of April/ May before the part could be received but to order the part I needed to give them a 500 dollar deposit. The man said that I could pick up my car that day so I could have it until they got the part and that they would call me when it was ready. I never heard anything. That following Saturday around 8AM after they had my car for over a week I called and asked for an update. The man spoke away from the phone and then told me he would need to talk to the mechanic and would call me back. I never heard back from them so around 2 o'clock I check to see their hours and they closed at 12! I called again and a man answered and I told him I needed my car now. He tried to tell me I had to wait until Monday because the mechanic wasn't in although he said he was talking to him. When I got there they had unplugged my battery and told me that he hadn't finished "re-programming" my car. When I said I wanted to take my car he tried to up-charge me for storage and "time worked on the car". My car was there for over a week and had no work done to it. He then tried to tell me that I had to pay for the part and they would need to cancel it coming even though they told me that they couldn't order it until I paid them 500. Something told me this wasn't right so I took my car to the dealership where I was told the only issue was leaves in the track and they fixed in for $350. This place is a complete scam and I would not go.

Their work was excellent and they even (for free) touched up a few things I didn't even mention. These guys are the tops. Two thumbs up. Way up. Polite beyond polite. They battled the insurance company to speed the work. They gave me a ride to the car rental place when the car rental place wouldn't pick me up, and I didn't even ask 'em. They noticed me waiting outside. I'd suggest they train most other businesses but, then, where would I get my car repair?

Joe did a wonderful job repairing the damage to my front bumper and buffing out scratches on the sliding door. My van was ready a day earlier than expected. When I picked up the van, the inside and outside had been vacuumed and washed. I was very impressed with their service and work.

Went perfectly - from initial estimate, through communication about the repair, to pickup. Also, is a reasonably short walk to Huntington if you need to leave your car. Terrific experience - best I've ever had with anyone in an automotive business.

All work was done on time and at a very reasonable price. They suggested ways I could save money on the body work I requested. I'd use them again.

The car looked like new when I picked it up. There was a heat shield loose over my exhaust pipe and they fixed it for free although it was not part of the body repair work. The cost was much less than estimates I got from other body shops.

excellant! My back passenger door I scraped and put in a mild dent while trying to park in a tight parking spot (the cement pillar won, my car lost !) . These folks gave a quote the was lower than any others and they were able to take me in within a few days. They repaired the door in 2 days, there is now no sign of any damage, also .... I think they may have taken out a door dings on the front door, since that whole side looks like it came out of the show room! PLUS, they are very nice!

They did a great job repairing and repainting my car's rear bumper. I was very pleased with the work and the professionalism of the staff I worked with. The car was ready ahead of when they had told me it would be. I note that the General Information listed here on the Angie's site at the time I was looking said they did not do free estimates. I called the shop and asked about that, and they said they did, and I went over and did indeed receive a free estimate. So check on that when you call, to see if free estimates are currently offered. The final price they presented after the work was done was agreeable with the estimated price, and they honored the Angie's list discount coupon, although I didn't present that until I went to pick up the car. The shop is also very convenient to the Huntington Metro station, which was very helpful, as I needed to ride the bus back home and then back over there when I dropped off and picked up the car.

It was great. Painless communication. Best price. Good quality work. Done quickly.

This is a great honest shop

Huntington Auto Body is fantastic. They negotiated with my insurance company to ensure that the entire front panel was replaced, not just repaired. They went the extra mile to make sure that my car looked just like new.

Absolutely fantastic work - those guys went above and beyond to fix a mistake I had made during installation; they even stayed later than the shop was open because they knew we had planned on going camping using the hitch that day. Plus, they barely charged us anything at all for the amount of effort they had to make to fix the tow hitch. We'd go here again in a heartbeat for any work we need done on our vehicles!

Mr. Lee and his team gave excellent service at a competitive, fair and reasonable price. That's how we like to do business! Quick service, only small issue was the paint job has some very slight imperfections.

Very prompt and fair quote and was flexible in getting me in after the parts arrived. Only hiccup was a part that was later realized to be needed and delayed the work a few days due to slow delivery on the dealership's end. End result was great--no indication of damage and honored my Angie's List discount.

Estimate was provided immediately upon visiting shop. Work was performed exactly as required/desired. Cost was a couple hundred dollars less than the body shop that the insurance company sent us to get estimate/repairs and accomplished in half the estimated time provided by that body shop. Work was performed as soon as fender part arrived, not the 10 days wait required by insurance company specified shop. Quality was excellent. Absolutely no issues.

I have a 2010 Subaru Forester which came equipped with the plastic wheel arch moulding. One portion of the rear wheel moulding has fallen off at least three times and I kept having the dealer replace it (on warranty). The last time it fell off I was fed up and asked a different (closer and more convenient) Subaru dealer about the cost. They quoted $235 for parts and labor to replace it. Then he mentioned that his boss had the same car and removed all the moldings. I asked what that would cost and was quoted $120 which sounded like a no-brainer (until it occurred to me to check with a body shop on the same service). Enter Angies List and all the recommendations for Huntington Auto Body. I called them and they quoted $50 for the same service. I brought it in two days later and within one hour they removed the remaining moulding, sanded the glue off and the car looks 100% better. I should have done this years ago. If I need any additional body work, I will be coming back to these guys.
