Overall, I was entirely dissatisfied with the quality of service received and professionalism exhibited by Mark.  Aside from his perpetual tardiness and lack of reliability in responding timely to e-mails and phone calls, he failed to identify several critical issues with the home during the inspection process.  Examples of these oversights include:1) evidence of water damage inside the house on several levels in the same general area2) wiring issues that resulted in non-functioning outlets3) damaged facia board and guttering on the roofAfter purchasing the home, a significant rain storm caused all of these issues to become apparent to me.  Subsequently, I contacted Mark and he agreed to reinspect the property.  However, he was unwilling to perform any additional services or refund my inspection fee, despite the myriad of observed issues. I would not recommend Mark Gammell to anyone for home inspection services, and my realtor promptly stopped using him after this experience.  Proceed with caution!
