The building that the business is in is very nice. The person that did our mortgage is also a realtor so I kind of felt that he was stretched. His name is Herbert Riggs I feel that it was possible that he could have gotten us a better rate. I mean our rate was good, it was 5 and a half, which is pretty good but during one of the weeks, there was that record lowest interest rate days. Just like a fluke where you could have got an interest rate like 4 and a quarter. I kind of felt that if he was actually just being a mortgage broker as opposed to a mortgage broker and a realtor he would have been able to tell his clients about this and help us all to get that lowest rate that one day. There was also a mix up in our fees, but we were refunded that $400 from them. It worked out in the end but we probably won't use them again.

Herbert Riggs worked with me to determine which mortgage lender provided to the best terms and performed a comprehensive search for the best rates. The title agent was amazed when she saw the rate he got for me (and she sees them everyday). Herbert is great to work with. He is consciencious, thorough, and has a great sense of humor. He was always available to answer any questions that I had.
