AWESOME! I chose Hollin Hall Plumbing based on reviews on Angie's List as well as wash checkbook, and Bruce fully lived up to all of the "love letters" / reviews that I read online. He is very competent and very efficient. He is very thorough, but he really hustles. After he fixed each thing, he ran water from every angle to check to make sure that the problem was solved. I was really amazed by how fast he was sprinting up and down the stairs. Bruce's ability to diagnose the problem quickly and accurately combined with his ability to fix it and check it quickly means that he gets a lot done in a short amount of time = lower bill. Honestly, I don't think he's charging enough!!! I only wish it hadn't taken me this long to find such a great plumber, but he's the only one that I will use and recommend going forward : )

The time window for their appearance was 11am-1pm. When I called to ask when they would show up I was told not until after 1pm. It doesn't seem to have been so much their fault, since the job they had before me took longer than expected. The two young gentlemen who showed up were professional and very courteous. They did an excellent job of cleaning up after themselves. In the end, the clog was gone and the sink was working. The price was very reasonable and I was happy with the service.

Prompt, friendly and professional. The work was straightforward, but we could tell they take pride in their work from the subtle details they pay attention to. For example, they went out of their way to make the smallest cuts possible in our walls, and made sure the cuts were clean and easy to patch.

My water bills have been higher than usual so I suspected a leak... i called and made an appointment. They were prompt, professional, and on time. Also, he checked all the toilets, replaced 2 flappers, and also did a bit extra work to fix some handles that were on backwards (which I didn't even know!) I was very pleased and will definitely use them again in future when I have any plumbing issues!

Bruce Storey has been a resource for us for five years, and has helped us with numerous plumbing issues, and so once again when we needed a plumber, we called Hollin Hall. The initial work was done quickly and professionally, but he had to return when the new faucet was leaking, but it turned out to be a problem within the faucet (extendable spray hose connection had loosened),and not the connections under the sink. He made the very simple fix, and was on his way.

Hollin Hall Plumbing was recommended by a friend after I had received an estimate from another plumbing company that was about 650.00. I've used Hollin Hall since then to help with a leaky cold water faucet in a bathroom. Always professional, explain all work in detail for me to understand and the prices (so far) are very reasonable.

My house main shut-off valve was stripped and stopped working after main water for whole house was off. So I had no water. Called Hollin Hall Plumbing very shortly before closing. Lindsay was kind, knowledgeable, and responsive. Bruce came to my house, arriving only about 30 min later. He coordinated with water company that had to turn off water at street. Bruce is professional, competent, kind, courteous, does beautiful work, and works fast. Their prices are very fair, and compared to other plumbers, extremely reasonable. This was first time I'd used Hollin Hall. I had first called several other plumbers, including the one I had used before, and their prices were absurd and highway robbery. In addition to excellent ratings on Angie's List, Washington Consumer Checkbook magazine gives them its highest rating for quality and price, which is why I called them. I have never been so satisfied with a plumbing company and will recommend them to everyone. I will certainly use Hollin Hall Plumbing in future.

Excellent. When I called I explained that they had previously replaced the pressure control valve and that I was not sure if this problem was related. Appointment was scheduled the same day I called and they were on time. Very careful to keep carpets clean. Replaced the worn out part and adjusted the pressure. Worked like new!!

I called on a Wednesday. Lindsey gave estimates of what each service would cost, including worst case scenarioes if the water heater needed to be replaced. The company sent two people, brothers, out the next day. They came within the first 15 minutes of a two-hour window. While Ryan fixed the kitchen sink that had been backing up, while Geeter worked on the water heater. Ryan offered advice on keeping the drain clear and told me what to avoid putting down the garbage disposal. Very helpful, actionable information. Because the water heater had been leaking, I feared it needed to be replaced. It didn't need to be replaced. I appreciated Geeter's honesty. He fixed the problem and told me the water heater should last a lot longer. Geeter explained what he was doing and made sure Ryan was doing what needed to be done. Both young men were quiet and hard-working. They cleaned up after themselves, although did leave a couple of small things behind. In fact, I think they left the house cleaner than when they came in. Geeter also let me know the type of cartridge I would need to replace on the kitchen sink. I've already recommended Hollin Hall to neighbors and plan to keep the company in my files for future plumbing problems (although I hope I don't have any more).

Responded promptly to our inquiry and scheduled work immediately. Plumbers arrived on time and finished the work in less that 45 minutes. Very personable and helpful.

We were exceptionally pleased. They were courteous, quick to get the work done, and detected and fixed the problem quickly.

Normally, I fix leaky faucets myself, but this time I couldn't remove the cold-water escutcheon to gain access to the valve stem and the worn washer. I checked Angie's List and found highly rated Hollin Hall Plumbing located nearby. It was late in the afternoon when I called. Within a half hour two young men arrived and got the job done in half an hour. Both of them and WD-40 freed up the escutcheon. Fast work!

I came home from vacation and found myself with a clogged kitchen drain, a garbage disposal that wasn't working, and a large leak underneath the sink. I called them at 1:30 pm and they told me they could have someone here between 3 pm and 4 pm the same day. Two men arrived at 3:30 pm and quickly fixed the garbage disposal. However, my leak was caused by the disposal seal being faulty, so they recommended I upgrade to a better disposal since the one I had (installed by the developer of a condo overhaul) was the cheapest and crappiest on the market. I asked them what they would recommend, and they told me I could get a Beaver 5 from a hardware store for $100. They said I could also get it from them, though it would be more expensive: $160. (How can you not love such disclosure?) I asked if they had a replacement disposal with them that they could install right then, which they did, so I told them to go ahead. I might have been able to save $60 by going to the hardware store myself, but I would still need to call someone out again for labor, and I preferred to have the problem fixed in one go. They were done by 4:15 pm, but they only charged me for 30 min. of labor and $150 for the disposal. The two were amiable and informative whenever I asked "idiot new homeowner" questions. Seriously cannot beat the response time and price. I would definitely call them for any future plumbing needs.

I can't say enough about the good quality of this company. I've had them out twice. They were able to solve problems that another company couldn't. They were professional and great experts!
