Heffner Architects is an Architectural and Design Firm led by Principals Jim Heffner and Shawn Glerum. Specializing in mixed use and housing of all sizes and types, including apartments, condos, detached single family, townhouses, and retirement communities. Our residential project range from redesign or build of single family homes to developments of over 1000 multi family units. We have developed a solid reputation for responsiveness to our clients and their specific needs.

We were referred to Shawn Glerum of Heffner Architects. We met with Shawn at the property and we explained what we wanted to do. The project was assigned to Frank Chu. Shawn and Frank measured the house and did a detailed analysis of the structure. We sent Frank our wish list. He provided an initial plan. We provided feedback and additional thoughts on what we wanted. Frank and Shawn provided helpful feedback and recommendations. They never tried to turn our vision into their vision. It was a collaborative effort and a wonderful experience and are now in the midst of the renovation. We are excited to see the final product - our home. Frank was responsive, did not hesitate to get clarification on our comments, and designed a lovely home that we believe will be functional for us in the years to come. It was truly a pleasure working with Heffner Architects and would not hesitate to recommend them or use them for any future projects.
