Hancock Fabrics Store- Alexandria

They have a person who comes home and performs the service. He also performs scissor sharpening. They were good. I cannot compare them with others as I have no clue about the service. They are a small store. The people there are knowledgeable. They service a wide range of interest as it is a diverse area. Its economic diversity is also quite obvious. They have a lot of people from different countries and different demographics. The parts for the sewing machine were tough to get. A lot of work had to be done by them with regard to cleaning out garbage that was in it. I would rate the store highly because even though it is a small one they had a super iron which was required to clean the sewing machine which none of the other stores in the area had even though they advertise for it. It is very much an all needs sewing machine store. I really don’t know about their price. I would rate them high on the fabric quality. They have a lot of people cutting the fabric and they are quite slow I felt. I use them all the time and would use them again in the future.
