Green Blades

I wish I could give less than one star. Avoid this company at all costs! Absolutely the worst landscaping company we have ever used. We needed them to mulch, clean flowerbeds etc. in preparation for showing our house for sale. Spiro showed up at our house with some questionable looking characters. They did an awful job. One example, we had a couple of big hosta plants which were quite beautiful. They completely trampled over them, demolished them and covered them with mulch. In fact, they covered a whole section of good grass with mulch and made the backyard look ugly. When they were finished, they just took off. No walk through or anything. No wonder because they did the worst possible job that they could do and they knew it.

Had this company come to put a French drain in 2 years ago. It worked well for about a year. Over the last year we have gotten more and more standing water in our backyard and over the summer I noticed one of the downspouts was loose and just directing water straight to my basement. Asked them to come by to look at it. Someone came by and noticed rocks in the drain, said it was probably broken and would get it fixed ASAP. Didn't come back. Have contacted them every few weeks for the last 6 months. My husband wrote a review which then got a response to come and look at the drain but only addressed one side of the house, not the side that looks like it has broken, and not the downspout. Have texted multiple times and called. Initially got responses like "we haven't forgot about you" but now I get no responses and my backyard is turning into a mud pit. This company is a small company .5 miles from my house. There is no real excuse for not addressing this problem with professionalism.

Spiro and his guys did an excellent job on my property this year. Very attentive.

I saw them doing work on my neighbor's lawn and asked them if they had an aeration machine and would be able to do mine.? They said yes and suggested putting down preemergent? fertilizer at the same time.?? The price for the entire job would be $145. They came the next Tuesday and did the whole job in less than an hour.? I was impressed with their professionalism and the reasonable price for a very good job.

Service is outstanding in all respects and their pricing is extremely competitive. We could not be happier with the results.

They charge their prices by the yard. They've been okay. Their quality of work is fine. They seem more reasonable than most places in terms of what the cost is. They finish the job very quickly. They don't mow unless the yard actually needs it. They only charge me to actually mow. If the grass hasn't 2.25 to 2.27.

Green Blades has consistently done an excellent job keeping my garden in shape and looking great. (They have been to my house three times). I could not be happier with the results--I had tried other companies in the past and they were extremely expensive and careless in their work. Green Blades provides outstanding service at a reasonable cost. And, Spiro the owner is very professional, always delivers and is a pleasure to work with.
