FOXGLOVE FLOWERS

Description of Work: Used their online ordering system to order flowers. Flowers were not delivered and receieved no notice from them. When I called they said at first there was no record of my order but would look into it. They called back telling me the address was outside their delivery zone even though the order went through online including billing my credit card. Said I could expect reimbursement within 7-10 days which I fought. Not easy since they use a third party billing company which they said I had to contact. No notice was ever given there was a problem with my my order. . . very embarrassing when friend receieved no gift for a very special occassion.

Description of Work: We had Wedding bouquets and boutineers for a wedding party. The flowers were beautiful and fresh. Delivered in containers with water. Price was very reasonable and the flower arrangement was gorgeous.

Description of Work: I needed funeral flowers for a funeral I had just found out about the night before. I called kind of late in the day, and after some hesitation, they were able to accommodate me. I am glad I sent the flowers because the widow had my flowers up in the receiving area and commented how nice they were. It was an arrangement of white roses with purple flowers in a glass vase. I think it is nice to send flowers to comfort the bereaved. (Sending money in for donations is nice too but it does not have the same comforting effect).

Description of Work: At 10:15 on 4/25 I called Foxglove Flowers on Quaker Lane and confirmed that they deliver to DC. I also confirmed that they would deliver flowers to my assistant on the morning of 4/26. On 4/26 when the flowers were not there by 2:30, I called and spoke with a woman who was very rude and answered each of my questions with "we would not have made a timed delivery today". She repeated this sentence in response to each of my inquiries and statements. I called back and spoke with Jerry Spitz, at 2:45 on 4/26, and asked him to give me a closer estimate to the flower delivery time than "before 5:00". He said he would not. I said all he would have to do is call the delivery person and find out his or her plan. I needed to know because the flowers were late to begin with and I explained that my assistant may leave the office before the flowers arrive. Jerry yelled "Are you in Spain? Don't you have anything else to do?! Do not call again."
