The movers were exceptional!!! I had some items that needed to be moved into my backyard, and the crew made things happen. They took great care with some of my antique items as well. Timely, efficient, and excellent service!! The final invoice was well within my budget as well. I have referred them to friends who are in the market for movers already.

Amazing moving company!! I highly recommend them. From the very beginning, Cindy provided outstanding customer service and always responded promptly. I received the quote quickly and was able to schedule the moving date I needed. When Walter and his team arrived, they were extremely professional and got immediately to work. Since I live in an apartment building and only had the freight elevators for a limited time, they worked hard to ensure we stayed within the allotted time and were able to release the elevator to other residents as soon as possible. Also, I move every 1-2 years for my job, so I've experienced A LOT of moving companies. Express moving expertly packed my furniture and belongings to prevent damage. In fact, they packed my furniture for a 3-block move better than other companies packed it for a cross-country move. The care they took to pack, move, and then put everything back together was extremely impressive and appreciated. Finally, they provided unparalleled customer service. They went above and beyond to ensure all my moving needs were met.

Absolutely phenomenal moving service company. The crew arrived early, quickly and efficiently packed everything with care (they wrapped EVERYTHING with moving pads) and completed the entire move with a smile in less time than originally estimated saving me $200+. Highly recommend!!

Robin and his crew were fantastic. They arrived on time, packed my home up in Fairfax and delivered it to Norfolk the same day. Everything was delivered safe and sound. Being a former military brat I never cared for moving but Robin and his team really made it so much easier and and an excellent price. His bid was hundreds less than other bids I had and the service was outstanding. Thanks Robin.

Robin and the crew at Express Moving and Storage were fantastic. We just moved to a new house less than a mile from our old condo. Robin worked with our schedule to come and assess the condo and tell us how long the move would take, and how much it would cost; he was spot on. Other movers just gave me a rate and a quote, we chose Express Moving and Storage because Robin, one of the owners, came by the house and explained his rates and even offered us areas where we could lower the cost (basically stuff we could do, rather than pay his moving crew to do it for us). It went really well. I was worried that something might go wrong but when they showed up I was reassured. They were fast friendly and very efficient. The whole move probably took a total of 4 or 5 hours total. Everything was handled smoothly and there were no mishaps. If I ever need to move again I will be calling them. Thanks, Guys!

My wife and I were downsizing. Express did a great job with the move as well as assisting and advising on storage and eventual auction/consignment process. Owner very knowledgeable. They were able to do it all at very reasonable rates.

My roommates and I were moving into a bigger apartment. The movers arrived on time and got right to work. They did take a bit longer that was anticipated but considering how the estimate work it was really just a matter of reworking my schedule a little. Overall, for the convenience this allowed us, I would definitely recommend them.
