The movers were exceptional!!! I had some items that needed to be moved into my backyard, and the crew made things happen. They took great care with some of my antique items as well. Timely, efficient, and excellent service!! The final invoice was well within my budget as well. I have referred them to friends who are in the market for movers already.

The team was excellent. Highly professional and a pleasure to work with. The company was also excellent to work with. Very personal service and professional in every way.

I just completed a move with Express Moving & Storage of Alexandria (6/20/24) and it was a very satisfactory experience from beginning to end. My initial call to Britini resulted in an appointment with the Co-Owner, Robin, to come and do the initial inventory of my household goods and from that he was able to give me the initial quote. However, after several conversations, Robin was able to make some suggestions to reduce the quote which I was able to do and so we got down to one truck & 4 movers. They were very flexible on the move date which, for various reasons, may have moved back & forth, but they were willing to work with me on my schedule and give me the move date that I needed. On the day of the move, the team showed up on time and Noel, the Team Lead, was very efficient in doing the initial walk-through with me and listened to my concerns on how to load the truck leaving certain parcels loaded first in/last out and there was a particularly large piece of furniture that was a difficult move up some steps but they kept their cool and moved it with no problem. He was very good at conveying directions to his team, marking certain pieces of furniture, and ensuring that everything got wrapped appropriately. Given the high temperatures of this day during the “heat dome,” the team worked diligently, kept things moving on time and never complained. During the unload, things moved quickly and even the other Co-Owner, Cesar, showed up to help with the unloading, to get it done quickly which I found very impressive. I felt like the entire team did whatever was necessary to get the job done right and on time, the first time. I would hire this company again and would recommend them to anyone.

We loved our movers!! They were friendly, hard working and did an amazing job of taking care of our furniture and other items. They were on time and finished within the allowed time. They did not take a break and worked fast and efficiently!! We could not have been happier with our experience and highly recommend Express Moving and Storage!!

Overall, happy with the price and service. I had a good group of hard working guys who were easy to work with and on time. They seemed to care and did not waste time. Very professional.

I was very satisfied with the performance of this company. The detail and clarity of the cost proposal was very professional and showed that they fully understood the requirements of the project. The friendly moving team called before arriving to ensure I was ready, arrived exactly on time, padded and packed everything with care. The manager reduced the final price because they finished the job in less time than was planned.

Amazing moving company!! I highly recommend them. From the very beginning, Cindy provided outstanding customer service and always responded promptly. I received the quote quickly and was able to schedule the moving date I needed. When Walter and his team arrived, they were extremely professional and got immediately to work. Since I live in an apartment building and only had the freight elevators for a limited time, they worked hard to ensure we stayed within the allotted time and were able to release the elevator to other residents as soon as possible. Also, I move every 1-2 years for my job, so I've experienced A LOT of moving companies. Express moving expertly packed my furniture and belongings to prevent damage. In fact, they packed my furniture for a 3-block move better than other companies packed it for a cross-country move. The care they took to pack, move, and then put everything back together was extremely impressive and appreciated. Finally, they provided unparalleled customer service. They went above and beyond to ensure all my moving needs were met.

Absolutely phenomenal moving service company. The crew arrived early, quickly and efficiently packed everything with care (they wrapped EVERYTHING with moving pads) and completed the entire move with a smile in less time than originally estimated saving me $200+. Highly recommend!!

Robin and his crew were fantastic. They arrived on time, packed my home up in Fairfax and delivered it to Norfolk the same day. Everything was delivered safe and sound. Being a former military brat I never cared for moving but Robin and his team really made it so much easier and and an excellent price. His bid was hundreds less than other bids I had and the service was outstanding. Thanks Robin.

Robin and the crew at Express Moving and Storage were fantastic. We just moved to a new house less than a mile from our old condo. Robin worked with our schedule to come and assess the condo and tell us how long the move would take, and how much it would cost; he was spot on. Other movers just gave me a rate and a quote, we chose Express Moving and Storage because Robin, one of the owners, came by the house and explained his rates and even offered us areas where we could lower the cost (basically stuff we could do, rather than pay his moving crew to do it for us). The move went great! Thank you Express Moving and Storage.

It went really well. I was worried that something might go wrong but when they showed up I was reassured. They were fast friendly and very efficient. The whole move probably took a total of 4 or 5 hours total. Everything was handled smoothly and there were no mishaps. If I ever need to move again I will be calling them. Thanks, Guys!

My wife and I were downsizing. Express did a great job with the move as well as assisting and advising on storage and eventual auction/consignment process. Owner very knowledgeable. They were able to do it all at very reasonable rates.

My roommates and I were moving into a bigger apartment. The movers arrived on time and got right to work. They did take a bit longer that was anticipated but considering how the estimate work it was really just a matter of reworking my schedule a little. Overall, for the convenience this allowed us, I would definitely recommend them.
