Ali came and addressed an issue with our dryer the same day it was reported. He is courteous, efficient, and highly professional. He also recently serviced our refrigerator and previously provided repair service for a similar issue with our dryer. We greatly appreciate his work!

If 10 stars were an option, I would give Ali and DMV scheduler Tina top marks. At 10:30 PM on Friday night, our dishwasher started spewing water and we couldn't find how to turn it off. There was 1/2" deep water in the kitchen and the water was pouring into the basement below. I called DMV on a desperate prayer and received a call back from Tina within 5 min. She called Ali who was out of town, but who called me right back and stayed on the phone and walked me through how to turn off the dishwasher water--while letting us have house water for the weekend. He then came the following Monday and did an efficient and excellent job fixing the dishwasher including having the correct part with him. A+++I so appreciate the extra effort and service. (BTW, no other vendor even called me back until Monday!)

Ali has worked on our appliances, especially our older model Sub-Zero side-by-side, several times now. He is highly skilled and responsive, easily diagnosing what is needed and often arriving with the appropriate part just from our phone description of the problem. Tina, the scheduler, is so efficient and friendly that it is a pleasure to call this company even though it means we have a broken appliance! I have recommended DMV Appliance Repair Services LLC to friends and will continue to do so. They are an excellent company, they do not overcharge, and they employ skilled and pleasant folks.

I called several companies and this was the only one that could come the next day. I think it is more of a smaller business than others but that just seemed to mean they worked harder for you. Ali came and fixed the wash machine in under an hour. I would happily go with this company again.

My whirlpool refrigerator was not working properly and I call dmv and Sam fix my refrigerator with in an hour. I highly recommend dmv to everyone. They are very professional.

substandard. I used DMV for 2 jobs for my dishwasher--first a small repair as there was residue on the dishes ($~125 repair was completed in a timely manner, which solved a short term problem), then on the install on a new dishwasher several months later. the install job was quite poor--it took 2 service trips, as the technician did not have all the parts needed, and there were several small damages done in the course of the install--including a damaged piece of wood trim, and a large (4 inch) zig-zag deep scrape to my wood floors in front of the unit. The technician did come back the following week with replacement trim, but overall quality of work was not what was hoped for. Price was lower than standard install, but the ~$35 saved vs store install was not at all worth the floor damage and hassle.

I contacted DMV appliance repair to get my kenmore oven baking element repaired. They were able to provide same day service within 3 hours of my contact with them. Their technician was very efficient and professional. He was wearing mask and told me that they regularly monitor their temperature.

The technician was knowledgeable and professional. He identified the leaking hose, and not only replaced it, but stabilized the dishwasher, so that it would not press against the hose.

I received a call back even on Sunday. The employee was able to go right out and solve the problem immediately. He had the part on hand and repaired it immediately They did no charge extra for having to go out on the weekend. The office was very nice to deal with too.

After calling multiple appliance repair companies who did not service my dryer model, I was glad that Ali from DMV had the replacement heating coil I needed. He arrived promptly, diagnosed the problem, explained it clearly, and fixed it in under an hour. he gave me advice on dryer maintenance. Price was reasonable and scheduling was easy.

Ali from DMV was able to come out and fix the problem the day after i called. The freezer was empty, so I was in no rush. He did an excellent job and, as always, the cost was very reasonable. Because I had described the problem on the phone, he brought the exact needed part.

Ali did a great job. He diagnosed the problem right away and ordered the part. Once the part came in he installed it the very next morning. He came right at the exact time he stated. Not only did he install the new part in my dryer he went above and beyond and cleaned the dryer vents. Ali is a great repairman and extremely professional.

Perfectly—Ali(Ollie) is a genius. He’s kept our quirky refrigerator going for many years. I will never call GE for repair—DMV is faster and cheaper. Tina is efficient at arranging the appointment (this time, I called on. Sunday)—always same day or next day. Ali comes exactly on time, and usually has the parts right on the truck, if not can get them in 24 hours. He’s a terrific diagnostician, and works quickly. DMV is terrific—the best there is!!

The dishwasher installation was fine, except the total price was a bit of a surprise at the end. No quote was provided up front. That said, it was a job well done. On the stovetop, he didn’t have the part (all parts must be ordered so prepare for the need for another visit). I was told the small plastic part was not expensive (like $50-60). Then, it was $105 per the web.) Prepared to pay that, I was told that they may be able to get it so that it could be installed on the next business day. They would call me, which they did not. Long story short, it would take an extra day and the total price was now $269. I asked for a cost breakdown and was told that they wouldn’t provide a cost breakdown. They lost my business for being rude, for the inability to clearly communicate, and for no pricing transparency. UPDATE: 12/20/2019 by Angie's List. I would like to say that their recollection of events is incorrect in several places and did not occur as described. It also demonstrates their inclination to blame the customer instead of recognizing that there is an opportunity to improve their business practices.

"This customer made an appointment, stating that they had two properties that they wanted services done at. For one of the properties, we needed to repair the control panel of the wall oven (which is now a company factory back order), so that couldn't be completed. For the other property, the customer wanted to reinstall her dishwasher that was incorrectly installed by another company. The technician gave a $129 estimate for the reinstall, and she agreed to pay the price. After installing the dishwasher, she requested if he could inspect the cooktop that was located at the same property, as it was not igniting. She did not make any appointment for the cooktop, yet the technician respected her request and diagnosed the problem, without charging the diagnostic fee. After the technician diagnosed the cooktop, he showed the customer that her spark module needed to be replaced and showed her the price & pictures of the part on the Sears Parts website. The amount listed on the site was $105 plus $25 shipping and handling. We gave her an estimate of $269 (with a cost of $139 for the labor of repairing the cooktop). The customer agreed to order the part. We ordered the part on the next business day (her appointment was on Saturday, and Sears only took orders on business days). We got the part on Tuesday and called her to make another appointment for installation. She asked for the price once more, and we gave her the same estimate of $269. She then stated that she checked eBay or Amazon for the same part, and found it for the price of $50-$60. Our company policy is to buy parts from the manufactures or Sears. We purchase original and genuine parts because we receive a warranty from the company, which we then give to the customers. Parts found on eBay or Amazon don't have any warranty, so we can't install them. We've had to return the part and pay the shipping and handling twice. Also, the customer did not pay the diagnostics fee, which is given to the technicians for spending their time diagnosing the appliances"

We had a washing machine problem caused by too much sediment in the water (thanks, WSSC!) and called DMV. They came the same day that we called, right on time, and immediately identified the problem. Replaced the intake valve and was done in less than 30 minutes. Very friendly, explained everything, and charged a reasonable price. Will call DMV again next time we have an appliance problem.

Ali diagnosed the problem quickly, ordered the part, and returned to install it as soon as he got it a couple days later. Everything went smoothly and we haven't had any problems since. Would hire again!

Overall experience was great!!! I was given appt next day. The tech was on time and diagnosed problem. He came back in two days with parts. What did impress me was about 5 days later and issue with Ice maker occurred. They promptly responded and rectified the issue. No problems since. I would highly recommend DMV. As a matter of fact I already did....
